Apple Lion 10.7 OSX Gold Master-FUCKHOTiSO

Well, here is something nice. For all of you who are using OS X here is Gold Master (aka Final) version of OS X Lion. Enjoy it! I’m not sure if it’s hackintosh-able yet… Leave in comments below if you managed to install it on regular PC.

Description: People have been doing the same things on computers for years. Clicking. Scrolling. Installing. Saving. With OS X Lion, we’ve challenged the accepted way of doing things by introducing new features that change the way you use a computer. Multi-Touch gestures transform the way you interact with your Mac, making all you do more intuitive and direct. Now an even richer Multi-Touch experience comes to OS X Lion. Enjoy more fluid and realistic gesture responses, including rubber-band scrolling, page and image zoom, and full-screen swiping. OS X Lion offers systemwide support for gorgeous, full-screen apps that use every inch of your Mac display. You can have multiple full-screen apps open at once — along with multiple standard-size apps. And it’s easy to switch between full-screen and desktop views…

It is a .dmg. (InstallESD.dmg) You just have to extract it from the rar files (.001 – .075).
Follow the guide here to burn it to a disc or use a usb stick to install: http://holgr.com/blog/2011/02/creating-a-bootable-os-x-10-7-lion-disc/

For me it doesn’t open as a .dmg file (it’s not InstallESD.dmg). Has anyone been able to install it? How?

Also, does anyone know if it’ll be possible in the future to update the GM version to a normal version and get regular updates?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Would recommend you install it on an external drive like I did. Just start installation and after reboot choose the ‘more drives/disks’ option.

i upgraded snow leopard 10.6.8. with this and already had bootcamp (with windows 7 ult 64 bit installed), and both are working fine. i did notice that somehow an “extra” hard drive icon called “recovery hd” was added to hard drive startup list when pressing ALT at boot… anywhoo, since it’s supposed to be the final release prior to the official release, it should update no problem… i also installed icloud beta 3 after the upgrade… you’ll have to upgrade little snitch to a nightly build for it to work, and only the latest version of paragon ntfs not tuxera ntfs will work after this upgrade (if you had either installed in the first place)…

Mac OS X 10.7 Final Release (MacAppStore) (Build 11A511)
Apple has seeded the golden master version of OS X Lion to developers ahead of its public release sometime this month (July). The golden master download is available from Apple’s Mac Developer website. The build number is 11A511. In addition, Apple has seeded Developer Preview 7 of Xcode 4.1.

OS X Lion brings many innovations from iOS including home screens (called Launchpad in Lion), autosaving, full screen application interfaces, and auto resume in apps. This is in addition to native support for the Mac App Store, Mission Control, an all new email client, built-in FaceTime, and interface and feature improvements through out the operating system. Lion also includes AirDrop file sharing, multi-user remote computer access, and Find my Mac (through iCloud).

The GM is identical to the current retail. It you currently run a leaked copy of the GM, I’m sure Apple would appreciate it if you were to launch App Store and BUY Lion, but there is no technical reason to do so, merely moral ones….
