ZoneAlarm Pro v7.0.362.000 Incl Keymaker-ACME

ACME released a new version of very popular (commercial) firewall software. It’s one of the best, I’ve been used it before, so i can recommend it if you don’t have any firewall protection yet.

ZoneAlarm Pro, proactively protects your PC with the most advanced, multi-layered, firewall-based security available. Stops spyware before it gets on your PC, removes spyware already on it, and offers extra protection from dangerous websites. Stops hackers and criminals from stealing your identity or financial assets.

avoid ZoneAlarm at all costs… or at least if you enjoy a working OS and programs.

  2. July 11th, 2007 | 13:52

Hehe, that’s why i’m now on COMODO firewall, but someone will like ZoneAlarm…

All you need is BitDefender. BD firewall is so great. Try it.
PC Mag gave it highest ranking, I think it was 98%.

A firewall that doesn’t use many memory is a must for me.
    (also good security offcoure)

Anyone who uses cracked security software…deserves a poker shoved up their ass :)

Go comodo instead, no viruses, hasn’t been molested (e.g. like the ad aware release from RLSLOG which contained a password stealing trojan) and best for passing leaktests.

kerio for the firewall and nod32 for the AV-job

Does NOT work with any version of MCE. Install with that OS if you want guaranteed crashes/freezes every couple of hours or so & kill button to begin anew. Have this on laptop – XP Pro SP2, no complaints other than the slow boot time & sloooow scans. Go with Eset Nod32 for AV & non-techies google how to set it up. Add firewall of your choice. Like anything, sample until you find what works best for you.

Use NOD32 and Sygate Personal Firewall Pro. Great combination and very low cpu usage.
I’m using this setup for quiet some time now and it works great, never had any problems at all.

    July 11th, 2007 | 16:46

Oh yeah, warning, don’t use Sygate Personal Firewall Pro on Vista because it will crash your OS.
So only use this on XP, Works great!

been using zone alarm for a few weeks sinse formating my last xp install and Im STILL getting buttloads of popups warning me about non-existant threats. Im changing my firewall for another asap.

Also, I highly recomend Symantec Anti-virus corporate edition. Barely touches system performance, regular updates and works incredebly well.. Unlike the bloated retail version.

    Peace!

    @MellowHexagon

In ZASS, go to Alerts & Logs and select “Off” in “Alert Events Shown” section.

This should drastically cut down on pop-ups.

  21. WillyWanka
    July 11th, 2007 | 17:26

Oh yeah, forgot: Turn off Privacy Advisor for even fewer pop-ups.

Yeah Zone Alarm is a bit of a shitter, I find sometimes it works smoothly on some hard drives, and on others it takes ages for Firefox to load up etc.

I say that but I still use it. Will give BitDefender a try I think.

    July 11th, 2007 | 19:49

ZA works well. Only downside is that updating takes alot of time and memory.

  26. July 11th, 2007 | 20:08

I tried most firewalls, free and pro, and zonealarm was one of the better ones I tried, but for games it can get annoying.
When you need to connect for a server, it will not connect cause you need to approve the connection with the firewall and then the problem of getting out of the game. Sometimes it wont let you, and all you can see is you mouse moving around. ctrl – alt – delete doesn’t do much either sometimes. Then you have to manually restart your OS.
I have been using agnitum pretty much all the time now. The main problem with agnitum firewall is that it will restart my OS randomly on some websites. I have disabled some of the adblocking features and that seems to fix it :/.
Zonealarm pro is pretty good. So get it if you don’t like agnitum firewall (pro). zonealarm pro 5/5 agnitum firewall pro 4/5.

The newe Netlimiter with it’s firewall, small foottpint and very fast. It pissed all over this shit AND COMODO firewall.
Kaspersky is good but it installs a shitload of services and can fuck up NTFS indexes. It

If you have a little brain, and don’t click on weird stuff, you DON’T need a firewall at all.

    Case closed.

  31. July 11th, 2007 | 20:27

Didn’t Norton BUY Sygate firewall, therefore Sygate is useless

this problem was on the 6 version
on v7 when u get the messege during a game
you don’t need to close the game to approve or decline the connection.
this firewall is 1 of the best.

The latest version of ZASS for XP/2000 is 7.0.363.000
I guess the keygen from this rls will work great. Here’s the download link:
    http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/free/3202_zl/zaSuiteSetup_70_363_000_en.exe
BTW, does this keygen work with the 7.1 Vista version, too? Have anyone tried it?

    July 13th, 2007 | 09:00

hmn yeah it shows a virus warnin on avg when i scanned it know
sorry guys it’S not my fault this release is not modified so it’s the release groups fault not mine :(

  41. July 13th, 2007 | 13:19

It’s not the first time an ACME-releases keygen is infected by a trojan horse.
It could make u think – coincedence?

  42. philips14c
    July 13th, 2007 | 15:01

Dont firewalls affect download speed! I’ve installed Comodo and uTorrent download speed dropped to 50%! I think i will stick with Windows firewall+avast+spybot+ad-aware SE Personal! BTW: Some of the cracks(keygen’s) are detected as viruses by some antiviruses! If the virus is detected as generic (no name) than maybe its not a virus (false alarm). Try to scan with others antiviruses(try an online scan for the suspected file)!I had this problem with a few cracks!

  43. hohoho
    July 23rd, 2007 | 15:13

Dumbasses, keygens always show up as trojan horses. It’s because of the way they are made.

ZA is great, the ones who say it takes too much memory need to get better pc’s.

  44. PHi
    August 19th, 2007 | 22:51

Weak firewall! ZA is auto hacked by almost all semi-recent intrusion bots.

Kerio + NOD32 + RootKit Detection are a good defensive setup. BTW if your not checking for kernel level rootkits your leaving the front door open. Malware and virii are lesser evils and easier to defend against and clean.
