Another fast release from Septic, they are really rocking HD scene these days. Here we have fantastic thriller about notorious serial killer known as Zodiac who terrorized San Francisco Bay Area during the late 1960s. This is directors cut it’s only 4 minutes longer then theatrical cut, with 2 more scenes added overall movie isn’t much altered from the theatrical cut. Rip is quite big 8 GB so I recommend you to grab this from some private source, downloading this big release from public tracker will be nightmare. Enjoy
David Fincher’s (FIGHT CLUB, SE7EN) adaptation of the Robert Graysmith book masterfully transports viewers to the Bay Area in the 1960s and ’70s by drawing on actual case files from the notoriously unsolved Zodiac killer mystery. As a murderer with seemingly random targets starts sending terrifying threats and cryptic codes to police and publishers all around San Francisco, fear and paranoia descend on the city. Through slow pacing, Fincher creates an effectively chilling atmosphere in which he spins a thick web of character-driven plotlines.
Early scenes depicting the Zodiac’s first-known murders vividly capture the victim’s fear and agony and will leave viewers haunted. When the Zodiac’s ciphers arrive at the San Francisco Chronicle, they spark the interest of Graysmith (Jake Gyllenhaal), a young cartoonist with a penchant for puzzles. As the former Boy Scout earnestly tries to decode the messages, eccentric reporter Paul Avery approaches the case from a career-boosting angle. Meanwhile, a string of investigators from four jurisdictions carry on a complex and unsatisfying search for the elusive killer. Inspectors Dave Toschi (Mark Ruffalo) and Bill Armstrong (Anthony Edwards) at times collide with Avery and Graysmith, whose interest in the case extends long after most have given up.

@the Source for that Release was a Digital Broadcast (HDTV) and not a HDDVD like Septic for this one used.
I also saw on a torrentsite a HD-Release from 3:10 to Yuma.
I hope someone puts it up on usenet soon.

ok, im sorry but he quality of the Zodiac.2007.720p.HDTV.OAR.x264-ESiR is like the same as the any septic releases and inlcude subtitles so is better to download..
i think septic should use 1080p and include subs since he have the hddvds.

Okay, may sound stupid, but is it possible to upload a HD release to, say, a-drive? That’d be nice.
@10, action has nothing to do with file size. A sentence from someones mouth carries more information than the sound of a gunshot or something. Most movies are similar size based on length, so any other 720p movie this long will be 8GB ish too.

i have downloaded this movie in july but still haven’t seen it all. 2 times i tried to watch and after 30min I fell in sleep.. ill download the HD to watch it and hopefully not to sleep

I meant that action movies *need* that extra quality, while typical movies don’t.
@pwner: Sure, you could compress it to 4,5 GB but that would negate a lot of the quality difference between a HDTV and HDDVD source. At least that is my opinion.
