ZitZot: iPhone finally launched in China, no big fuzz

Japan went crazy over the iPhone when it made its debut in summer last year, but China as another big Asian market for Apple seems to react differently. The iPhone officially launched in China today, offered by China Unicom, one the country’s three big cell phone carriers. But our friends over at major Chinese news portal 163.com are reporting [Google machine translation] that not too many people were actually queuing up to get one, at least in Beijing.

not really a big surprise considering they get more advanced phones months/years before the western world… this is old news for them…

iphones are soo big and heavy that they dont want them!! they have better and smaller!! ahah

2. N97 looks nice but is broken. N900s is where it is at.
at the comments saying Chinese phones are way better, euh hell no, get informed before trying to act start dumbasses. In China they only have cheap replica’s which are slow, dumb and ruin the market of the real phones which is also the reason why not many in China are interested in the iPhone.
Wait, zitzot isnt dead? I think that is the real new! I thought they had forgotten about that failed experiment already! (news about technology that already had appeared in any other portal)

iPhone is in china for 2 years already, coming from HK or directly from chinese manufacturers. Unlocked of course because no real deal with providers. But iPhone is definitely not new around here
@13 euh, my argument is not even close to be paradoxical, i didn’t contradict so don’t try to act smart dumbass, what i said was, the fake phones ruin the market of the real ones, let me explain that in datail for you cause otherwise you’ll never get it with ur insectbrains.
1. Chinese manufacturers make crapPhones istead of iPhones
2. People get hold of the crapPhones while thinking it’s the real iPhone
3. People hate Apple because of the crapPhones
4. On the release of the iPhones they think the iPhones are as slow and dumb as the crapPhones.
that’s what it means to ruin the market for something…
