The BluRay version was released earlier today, and that’s why we bring you this BDRip. BDRIP is a new, yet not yet fully recognized, format of releasing movies. Groups started this new format because Blu Ray disc are often released earlier then the usual DVD. They encode a movie with Xvid, using BluRay as the source. DMT releases the BDRip of Zack And Miri Make A Porno. I suggest you check it out, video sample and Rapidshare links included.

Lifelong friends and roommates Zack (Seth Rogen) and Miri (Elizabeth Banks) are facing hard times and a mountain of debt. When the electricity and plumbing get cut off, they seize upon the idea of making a homegrown porno movie for some quick cash, enlisting the help of their friends. The two vow that having sex will not ruin their friendship. But as filming begins, what started out as a business proposition between friends turns into something much more.

    Actually, me, the cinema release wasn't cut. MPAA had some issues with the "diarrhea" scene, and Kevin Smith didn't want to cut it. So he appealed to the MPAA and succeeded. Nothing was cut.

    Vagabond, this BDRip should look much better than a regular DVDrip. It's not the same if you convert HQ 720p video to a regular resolution or convert a standard DVD to Divx.

    I've downloaded sample – I've heard just a creepy sound in BSPlayer. So I tried KMPlayer – black screen and computer got totall stuck – hard restart. I've looked here and read about bad sample. OK, I've downloaded good sample from the forum, last link. Guess what. Just a creepy sound in BSPlayer and black screen with hard restart in KMPlayer. I have no problems with AVI, MKV, whatever. What new codec do you I need? Thx

    Maybe because the bluray source is of higher quality than the dvd source. But it is indeed questionable. I don't think it is impossible though.

    Oh don't worry, they will make a UNRATED DIRECTORS CUT eventually, they will make it later after everyone has bought the regular version. They will make a killing on it too. Remember this movie was originally NC-17 and had to be edited to get an R rating. Atleast 12 minutes of the film were cut if not more.

    BDRips are slightly better in terms of quality because the source is better.
    The resolution and bitrate don’t matter. CAM releases are often 1000+ kbps but that doesn’t make them watchable. BDRips may have the same video stats like DVDRips but just because the source is better so is the resulted video.
    In the past few months BDRips often (miss)labeled as BRRips are becoming more and more frequent form of movie rip. Let’s hope that most scene groups will turn to this rather than standard dvdrips.

    Actually, they use the H.264 format but they encode to H.264 through the x264 encoder.

    So it is correct to say that they use H.264, but they encode with x264. So both of you are partially right.
