We’ve post bout this app a couple of times. This program tweaks and optimizes your vista to make it respond and run faster. It even says it’ll increase system security. I have also included the version for 64-bit PCs. More info below…

Vista Manager is a system utility that helps you optimize, tweak, and clean up Windows Vista. It will increase your system speed, improve system security, and meet all of your expectations. It’s compatible with Windows Vista SP1 entirely!

    I´m searching for some way to customize Windows Explorer in Windows 7/Vista to show the total file size of all files in the current folder opened, in the status bar or Details Pane, exactly the same way Windows xp was.

    Anyone can sugest something, please?

    I have used TuneUp 2008 and the previos versions for years it works great on XP and Vista just about any OS and it does not muck up your reg or anything it just keeps your OS running like a dream.

    @23 thanks for info, but this doesn´t work well in Vista/7 and in fact, is not what I was looking.. I don´t want to see folder size in details view, I want to see the sum of all files sizes in status bar, the way xp did.
    To clarify, see this picture, showing the difference, and all the space lost without information in vista/7:

    for everyone that says that this program does harm… the program warns you for it! you can make backups of your registry or create a system restore point in case something goes wrong.

    programs and apps. like this do NOT "speed" up your machine. There are only two ways to get more out of your computer.
    LEARN to properly use said machine, and hardware.
    The best thing you can do is stay away from "amazing" fix programs (they NEVER are) and educate yourself about the operating system you have or use.
    Some anti virus programs actually come with infectious threats, and i know this can be frustrating….! the internet is a vast source for information on becomeing a better USER of computers, rather that the computer USING YOU!
