I Have been using this app for a long time, its excellent – the amount of gear you can tweak and enable / turn off on Vista is very good! I also use the XP manager for Windows XP – which is made by the same company.

dont use such piece of crap software! if such crap could really speed up your operating system, dont you think microsoft would have resources to implement it into the operationg system? the useful features of such programs are already with the OS, the parts that fkuc up your system are not really needed, and for some advanced stuff that is hardly ever useful for a novice, check out the sysinternals utilities offered for free on microsoft website

Your system was f***ed in the first place.
This proggy works fine, nothing wrong with it if you know how to use it. I tested it on Vista with no problems.
Some people just jump into things without first reading up on how the software actually works and what changes will effect your system and if you really need those changes.

@10 theXT MS os has always been riddled with problems, Vista for example is full of bloat ware left over from 98 & XP. They do have the resources but chose not to use them to produce a lean fast Vista.
@10 – This app isn’t doing anything that can’t be done manually I agree – but it puts everything in one place for easy access which I think is a real plus.
34 – i doubt that there is any 16bit w98 code left, but you may be right with wxp code, which implies good chances that there is w2k and even nt4 code in some places, but that does not necesarely make the code bad. and for the riddling case, there is no perfect os arund yet… maybe some embedded realtie OS would come closest to that. but anyway such tuning apps dont change or replace any code, so whats your point then.

disappointed, ran registry cleaner then compact it, restart, already a sth not found error!! Lucky to have system restore.
the problem of this program is it doesn’t scan on what u’ve already done in the system. Quite confusing…
try it again, apparently it’s the registry defrag that cause the error. WTH!!
Better look for what u can do and find out how to do them manually instead!!
