As long as there’s a rift among people which web browser is the best, there will be the same debate about file managers. For me, this is Firefox 3 of Windows Explorer replacements. Normally, I’d expect TE to pre this but lately CRD have been doing a splendid job. No harm in giving it a go and I hope you’ll share the praise for this product.

because total comander and this one are both crap compared to what directory opus has to offer.
Call me oldschool but there was never anything better then FAR file manager. Excelent and easy to use interface. No need to use mouse. 100x faster then windows explorer. Access FTP and network + with plugins chect e-mail, telnet etc.

I’ve been using file managers since the early DOS ages and Norton Commander. After the switch to Windows I have used Total Commander at first but have been using xplorer2 for quite a while now.
xplorer2 is like Total Commander on steroids. It has the same functionality (like F5 to copy) but offers tons of useful stuff as well (like queued copying/moving). I only use Total Commander for mass renaming nowadays (xplorer2’s only weakness imho).
keygen doesnt work
Markstar, Total Commander HAS queued copying/moving. Just look at the dialogue box that pops up when you press F5 or F6.
You just have to press F2 after F5 or F6 to send to the queue, instead of ENTER to execute immediately.

total commander is the best. Some guys like Markstar just doesn’t know how to use it. Read the manual please.

i tried almost every alternative of these kind of apps and until now the best (in terms of funcionality) is “directory opus” everything you might want you can do with “Dopus” but with a step back, the memory usage and cpu usage, XYplorer is kinda the opposite, there are a ton of missing features in it but it uses a lot less memory and cpu of them all while still giving a lot of stuff
I have to agree with most people and say nothing beats Total Commander (specially the Ultimate Prime versions).

Directory Opus comes with the ability to install itself onto a USB dive so you can use it instantly on any computer you’re working on with all your ftp links ready to go. Invaluable when looking after multiple websites for different clients.
I’ve tried most Explorer replacemens, so I have to agree nothing really beats Directory Opus. Been the best since it’s early Amiga days…
Just too bad it seems to be the hardest to crack also – but I guess that’s just a sign of dedication/quality…
The problem with this release is that there is a little itty bitty trojan embedded in the keygen
Stig2k, Total Commander also has the option to install to an USB stick.
As David said, you guys really need to read the manual.
