Xslimmer v1.6.2 MacOSX-SHOCK
Xslimmer removes wasted space on your Mac’s hard drive by removing the binary from either its PowerPC or Intel code (depending on the system architecture used). The result users report is that you can save 47% of your disk space.For example, when running Xslimmer on Google Earth 4, it shrinks the size from 101MB to 52.8MB, which is a 47% reduction.
As the developer states, the driving goal of Xslimmer is to achieve size reduction without compromising functionality. As of version 1.2, the option to strip applications from unwanted language files and localizations is added. Version 1.2.7 improves Leopard support by automatically excluding Time Machine paths from the analysis process.
Additional features for safe use include a “blacklist” and a custom folder list (which is by default populated with key system locations). This prevents problems with applications (or the system itself) that will no longer work after size reduction.

How many megs of executable files you have then? I have some 300mb on my linux, so save would be 150mb and I think this kind of stripping should be done in install phase, what the hell you do with powerpc code if you run intel.

At risk of sounding like an absolute idiot, which file do we replace with the one in crack.zip? I’ve tried replacing the file in the applications folder but that doesn’t work. I know what to do with the license file but unless I can patch the app that’s useless!
Any suggestions?

I got so far that i am in show package contents, but then i have to replace xslimmer to the same folder as its in ? … I Dont understand..

Its not hard,
- You install as normal
- then unzip the crack file
- go into the crack/applications folder and right click the xslimmer icon
- choose show package contents
- go to Contents/MACOS and copy the file ‘xslimmer’ to your desktop
then go to your mac hard drive
- choose applications
- navigate to the xslimmer app and right click this
- choose show package contents
- go to Contents/MACOS and drag the file ‘xslimmer’ from your desktop into this folder
- click replace to overwrite the file
Now go back to you crack directory and click on the license file, this will now work

The post 30 is weard, if you use that one your rapidshare password and username will be stolen. I pressed that link and i have my rapidshare acount set on auto download, but when i used the link 30 rawr, i “had” to log in again.. Hmm..
I followed all the instructions but still it says the license key is invalid.
I installed the app, copied the file from the crack contents to the app contents. opened the license and still nothing…
any ideas why?
