F4CG just released this tiny application. It gives you the possibilities to create countdowns and countups. Might be handy in a meeting, to create some tension ;) .

This practical software, mostly use for important meeting . You can make sure it how long to start the meeting. It’s easy to do. It has full screen mode and customized size mode. It has ‘Countup’ and ‘Count down’ timer mode. It supply 4 normal alarms and one countdown alarm, etc.

  4. In some time segment the program can remind user through background twinkle.
  5. In the top of screen the program can show your meeting’s topic, it also can been customized.
  6. In every time segment ,the program can play a sound file which supports wav , midi ,even mp3.
  7. The font of time label can be customized by user, and the time label can be drag to any position.
  8. Customized size mode: only show time, the size of window is same as the time label, and you can drag it to any position, support 20-255 level transparent, specially suit timer on top when playing a PowerPoint file or make a presentation.
  9. More quick operation mode: double click blank of forms to start/stop, double click the time label to pause/continue.
  10. User-customized system hotkey to control start/stop/pause(even if the program is the active application or not).
  11. User-customized forms: you can decorate the forms with a picture, which support gif, jpg, bmp files, even the animated GIF.

    It actually costs money?! This “program” takes 15 minute to write with c++

    Its really simplistic.
    But an idea I never thought of.
    I’m using it to try and streamline the amount of time it takes for me to make a presentation.
    I might even use it during an actual pitch with the numbers counting down semi-transparent in the corner.
    The audience might see it and subliminally focus in on my finishing pitch line.
