Haven’t tried it, but from my experience the quality of these all-in-one “jack of all trades” kind of products usually is nothing to write home about. Better get an application that is dedicated to the format you want to convert to, you usually have much better control over the settings and thus better results.

This involves some wor, of course, as you’ll have to read up on the format you’ll be converting to… but IMHO that’s usually worth the time.

  14. May 27th, 2007 | 13:48

    qnr,
dude, this app has tons of options for an AIO converter just look at the right pane in the screenshot, everything you could possibly want to adjust is right there. Trust me I’ve been encoding video for a long time and it’s the best converter with the most consistent success rate I’ve ever used.

    “…READ the comments first!”

If you even looked though the comments (particularly #18) you would have read that the virus infected torrent was from mininova and that the new link is virus free, so blah.

“Stick to Mininova or ISOHUNT for smaller files…”

    Co-sign.

    Also, that’s mininova.ORG, and not .net ;)
