What flipping planet are you on???

Have you ever been to a place where you can go into a shop and play a 360???

The day the 360 came out huge masses of 20 to 30 year olds practically crowded around them and played them for hours on end. Infact it still continues to this day, the majority of Xbox 360 players are infact based in the 20-30 range.

Does anyone remember the first few days the PS3 came out, Paris, Berlin, NYC, London. Huge masses of Xbox 360 fan boys shouting and holding up banners says how crappy the PS3 was gunna be. I mean you have to admit it they were scared that Sony were gunna wipe out their precious 360.

The PS3 has advertised to all ages while the Xbox 360 has been advertising to the 20+ range, that is why the PS3 has overtaken the Xbox 360 now. Even though they launched sixteen months before PS3.

Maybe Microsoft should change their selling perspective.
Overall we all know in the end the true winner is going to be Nintendo.

I am writing this comment in windows xp, some people really have no brains when they comment, things like “sony doesn’t brag about their console as much as MS does”, bloody hell, we are all consumers and suckers for this gen to be brand loyalists, and no one in other ps3 forums talk about RROD anymore…..god awful ancient times this place is….

360 is not for hardcore gamers, its for the same sheep that have been buying MS’s trash software and hardware for years. They have to be constantly reminded that MS sells alot so that their delusional mind doesnt realize theyve been had once again. I spewed coffee all over myself when Jay said MS had innovative technologies. What company in their right mind would give an extra year of warranty for free if their product was so innovative.

Xbox is for kids – its loud, doesnt play bluray, menus are all flashy like old arcade game + it doesnt come with the basics. PS3 Come with integrated wi-fi + bluray + other ports and connections also its has wayyyy more potential. I mean u can even install linux on it, probably xp in the future too! If u add the price of wi-fi + hddvd drive to the xbox the price will be alot higher and u will be still stuck with uselees hddvd drive.. Ps3 also has amazing media center functions, the only good thing about xbox is that it can stream tv from media center pcs..

Whoever said that europeans dont have good taste, well thas BS + Europe is not one country, it consists of many, I am from Lithuania and now live in Ireland and can say the taste for games and other stuff is very very different..

PS3 is here to stay, xbox is for kids(not trying to insult anyone, i meani will get one myself too probably), PS3 is future and wii is just for fun..

MS went with HD we see how well that ended. 360 will be the same way after ppl wake up and say wtf am i doing and run out and buy a ps3.

I have a xbox 360 and i think it pisses over the ps3 Gears of war was amazing, i loved lost planet, gta 4 is brilliant on the 360 and doesent take 25 mins to install, who cares about spec ps3 software designers clearly aint building the games to the so called outclassed ps3, Microsoft owns sony lol

Are you on crack or can’t you read? The quote was from Shane Kim, the BOSS of Microsoft Game Studios, I didn’t make it up, plus THERE ARE ALREADY 360 GAMES ON MULTIPLE DISCS. Here are 2 of them which are on 3 and 4 dual layer discs respectively:

The PS3 has access to more RAM than 256MB (otherwise you wouldn’t be seeing the “PS3 only” effects in the forthcoming Ghostbusters game. These effects aren’t possible on the 360. Read it on qj.net) and M$ will NEVER use HD DVD for games, just like you will NEVER see a 360 with Blu-ray. Do you think that M$ can convince 19 million 360 owners to go out and buy a peripheral for games? What was the RRP of the HD DVD drive when it came out because I guarantee you that they wouldn’t be selling it at its current price.

HD DVD is dead, get over it. Even PC games are shipping on multiple dual layer DVD’s.

So from your previous statement about not being able to compress compress a 360 game on a single DVD9, are you going to buy a PS3 now?

I personally own a 360 and am very happy with it, have had no problems with it and I got it on the day of release. The only reason I can see for getting a PS3 is for the Blu-Ray player, but it is going to be much louder than a stand alone.
And to whoever said that we xbox owners will have to have multi-disc games…Your a moron. When games get to a point that no matter how you compress it, it will not fit on DVD9, then we are all gonna have buy new consoles as both the PS3 and 360 don’t have an awful lot of RAM, PS3-256MB 360-512MB.
If games do get that size, I suppose Microsoft could give 360 owners free HD-DVD drives and revive the format for games.

@lodfin yes warcraft does have 10 million nerds that play it and thats great for them.
HOW DO U KILL THAT WHICH HAS NO LIFE!!??

i have a ps3 and 360 and i like them both. but i play the 360 more. better online in my opinion cuz when u pay for something its just going to be better. i like how you can download games from the xbox online as well as shows. ps3 i use more for watching movies than actually playing it. maybe ill play mgs4 but that game seems kind of dumb to me but it might be good. hiding in barrels? but i do know one game i will play and for a long time after it comes out. gears of war 2. the first one was awesome and multiplayer was fun as hell. love doing the rodeo run and super rodeo run.

360’s just better.. Playstation users and developers have always been jealous of the Xbox’s amazing success and innovative technologies. Ms will always be one step ahead, ps’s loyal followers are weaning.. I know because my friends have been converted and they loved the ps2,but, they we’re jealous of my Xbox and games.. Hehehe..
