Thanks for answering that question for #2. I just wanted to add…

If this software is blocked by a firewall then its primary functions are rendered useless to a user since it gives out its reports by having access to both end points. If one point is not established or reached then the info is incomplete and is then useless.

I use something similar to this and it is free. Not only that but by going to the link below, you could get other free appz from there that in conjunction will be more powerful than x-netstat can ever dream of.

@23, I asked about that 20 posts earlier and you’re the first to reply so I figure it still phones home. From what I’ve seen even using a keygen it sends the serial number, your ip, mac, registered windows owner/logged in user, and any other personal information it can find back home each time you start it up. the info is stored in a database, the serial is disabled, and reported if possible. if you plan to use this on an extended evaluation, you need to be sure you have a good firewall preventing it from ratting you out.
