Sweet release by group UNiVERSAL. This seems to be a wacky movie that has good scores to back it. Shannyn Sossamon often picks interesting roles and it may well be worth checking out. As you can tell from the samples, quality is lush.

Synopsis: From the moment Zia (Patrick Fugit) cuts his wrists and enters a bizarre afterlife reserved for suicides, this film becomes a strangely uplifting, darkly comic tale about a journey through the hereafter. This is a world where everyone still bears the scars earned from the manner in which they “offed” while the everyday reality is a twisted mirror image of our own mortal world.

    I saw the Scr and don’t know how it got a 7.5 Imdb rating.

    terrible film .. first try i fell asleep after 10 minutes. 2nd try, i fell asleep after half an hour. 3rd try i managed to sit through it.

    shannyn sossamon is hot but this film sucked twelve kinds of ass.

    The movie is gonna be good for some and not so good for others, but I remmember the first time and everyone was all ignorant like “omg emo movie, boohoo”, this is not an emo movie, is a rare, but somehow good movie, i liked it somehow =)

    number 1, chill out about the picture (the kid lives)
    number 2, the movie is not a whack little ‘emo’ film its actually very good in my opinion although the mention of the word ‘wristcutters’ at my house now causes everyone to erupt into laughter.
    still a great movie in my opinion.
