WRC 2009 Spain Review WS PDTV XviD-433

This is my first WRC post on rlslog, i hope you will enjoy it. I try to post many sports posts on rlslog, if you want more, or special show, hit me up on comments ;)

There has been significant change for Spain’s round of the WRC in recent years. First the move from the Costa Brava to the Costa Daurada on the other side of Barcelona in 2005, and then a calendar move back to autumn in 2007.

The event’s nature hasn’t changed much, however, with the wide, sweeping asphalt roads providing the fastest sealed-surface stages of the season. Racing driving techniques can pay dividends on the fast asphalt stages as drivers aim for smooth lines through the turns to maximise their speed.

The event is based in the PortAventura theme park, in the town of Salou in the Tarragona region. It’s extremely popular with spectators – especially the Spanish who were weaned on years of success for double champion and 26-times rally winner Carlos Sainz.

    there were some Formula 1 posts few months back but they’ve stopped I guess the other guys have their hands full i hope you’ll be the one who;ll be posting them in the future :)

    The 2009 WRC kicks off with a monumental challenge: 217 miles of impossibly narrow, rain-slicked country roads through both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. These tight and serpentine stages take drivers through the Sligo Mountains and Fermanagh Lakelands where, in places, the narrow roads are little more than the width of a car.

    Cheers for posting a release about WRC, especially as it is not being aired nowhere in Greece, unlike F1 and MOTO GP, so being able to find it, gives me great joy.

    If you can find and post other similar WRC events, it would be really great. Especially interesting is the one mentioned by NaViTo in @17.

    And, once again, this is the main reason I read this site. Not for movie stuff, but to know what somewhat-oddball TV shows are available. I gave up trying to find caps of WRC a long time ago, but now, because of this post, I tried again, and see some people/groups have been keeping up with it.

    wrctorrents.com has all of 2008 and 2009(to date) rallies

    thebox.bz is just british programming, with BBC Sport and Eurosport, who cover all MotoGP and WRC

    hope this is useful to someone.
