A well known release group RELOADED have released WorldShift, its and science fiction real-time strategy video game. This does look very interesting. It will get a play from me one day. Enjoy the release. Read the nfo for instructions.

In the 21st century, a mysterious object lands on Earth ending all known civilization. WorldShift is set thousands of years after those events, when the human civilization is no more than just a fading myth. The remains of the mysterious object, known as Shard Zero, are still spreading its Plague and reshaping the Earth. The human race has developed a new culture and are now living in five shielded mega-cities, struggling to survive from day to day. The rest of the Earth is populated by what is known to be the Tribes, successors of the early humans that were affected by the Plague, and the Cult, a mysterious alien race with unknown origins.

      Was in the worldshift beta, heaps of fun but damn hard at times… Needs some grinding to do the good maps, but most often its worth it.

      I would suggest buying it if youre interested, the online play is where its at, like diabloII more or less – its fun offline but when youve played online you never go back.

      The game website doesnt work for me and the pictures here for the game aren’t loading so i guess they come from the website. I am going to search for some pictures of the game. I have heard of worldshift but not alot of hype for it.

      .. got the clonecd a little while back.. Was expecting something good, but it’s a great big YAWN.

      Walk on pre-defined routes, kill some baddies, walk some more, kill some baddies… ad nauseum.

      Totally lacks any freedom of movement and use of tactics.

      It’s just like playing a scripted series of events. ZZZZzzzzzzz.

      A couple of notes just to make things clear

      1) It’s right that the shipping date changes with the store: developers got agreements with different publisher and different dates, accordingly to nation. So the game was out many months ago for CSI (Russia and relative confederated countries), and is now for Spain, Italy, etc… where FX Interactive is distributing. Btw, the CSI version was available on the “scene” from June or July.

      2) I participated in beta, and there’s really no sense in playing single-player only. The SP gameplay is meant as missions to get power-ups for multi…if you don’t play multi, you only get a very few missions without some goal (even the story is weak). The focal point of the game is competition…well maybe it’s not the “focal”, but the “only” point. Btw, this is why i decided not to go on and buy it…I got asphalted too many times by damn grinding kids.

      Did not succeed running this game with Hamachi yet.
      maybe theres a CFG that i dont see and i need to change?
      if it is , some1 please release the name of it and how to do it if he’d like too.

      and this game has an Lack of tactics,
      but is cool for an amount of time.
