Ive never been a fan of simulation games, but heres a train simulator game for anyone that is interested in simulation type games.

This brand new developed Railway Simulator introduces the worlds first ever subway line going from New York beneath the Hudson-River to Newark. The original route is almost equally split in underground and above ground sections. Coming with excellent graphics this simulator also puts a lot of emphasis on original physics of the train and wagons.

The label “World of Subways” will feature some of the most interesting Subway Routes of the world for the PC. Vol.1 kicks off with the oldest underground route, the route between New Jersey and New York City known as the PATH Route. Further planned products are the BerlinSubway, London Underground and the Paris Metro. Add-ons, such as new trains route extensions or new activities will also be available in future.

Game features:

  • Break Spark – Spaces in between the live rails can produce break sparks on the current collectors which can be seen as lightning flashes and which can also be heard. This is best to be seen in a tunnel as the tunnel walls will be lit for a split second when this happens.
  • Train swings – The train will start swinging the higher the speed. You will especially get this kind of feel in the cab. Hard braking will also produce this effect and the train will still be in a swinging motion when it has come to a full stop.
  • 3D – Cockpit with rotatable camera – allowing the player to look around. By using a key stroke the view angle will be centered again.
  • Free movement inside the train – While the train is stationary at a station you will have the option to switch to an ego perspective inside the passenger car. You can move by using keyboard commands, view angles can be controlled with the mouse.
  • Free movement on the station – you can get off the train at any station and move around (ego perspective). There will also be some missions starting on the platform of a station. The player will have to walk into to the train, into the cab which is seperated from the passenger area by a door.
  • Changing of cabs at a terminus – sometimes you will have to change the cabs during a mission. You will have to do this at Hoboken at the weekends when shift operation is active. The train driver has to leave the cab, the train and then walk along the platform to the other end. He then gets into the train and cab again to prepare for departure.
  • Realistic lighting on the trains – Pixel lighting allows a correct display of the amount of light. You probably know what it looks like when thinking of a flashlight shining agains a wall. Pixel lighting allows the display of such lighting effects as can already be seen in some ego shooter games. This effect will amaze you when driving at night or through a tunnel.

    Only reason people get Fallout 3 for xbox early is because they give people review copies on xbox only.

    World of Goo is a really good game if you liked Bridge builder games and it has better physics simulation then most fps out there.

    It says in the post “worlds first ever subway line” which is totally wrong. The first is London in 1863 and then Paris in 1900. New York was third in 1904.

    Actually New York was FOURTH. Boston had the first subway line in the United States. 7 years before New York.

    Damn it!, leave the technical questions for late, is doesn’t matter which first subway line opened, is certain that PATH is one of the oldest, period!!

    The matter is how to get the game, the torrent does not work and the single file links makes us pay!!!!:S

    Read the nfo file! Crack isn’t needed, but u need to open the registry and follow the instructions!

    I know cadgers, i have the game .exe is only 500mb, but if i install it without DT, and run the game, it asks for online registration of the key, so i must install this from a mounted image, that means, my .exe file is a waste.

    ********* INSTRUCTIONS FOR PLAYING ******

    1. mount the image with dt lite/pro and install the game
    2. open regedit
    3. open [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\cdrom\Enum]
    4. export the Enum key to a .reg file, just to have a backup if something goes wrong
    5. change the value data of the corresponding virtual dvd device (if you are not sure just change all, it will

    cause no negative effect) from: SCSI\Cdrom&[...] to IDE\Cdrom&[...]
    6. export the Enum key to a .reg file again, because after a reboot the changes are lost, so you can restore them by

    one click
    7. play the game :)

    This doesn’t work! The “crack” doesn’t work at all. I changed from SCSI to IDE, but it gives me an emulation error.

    Christ, 360 seems to be getting the best games ever, and what does the pc get, utter crap. This isn’t even a game, this is something you do when you question your life, when you ask if its worth it going on in a hollow shell.

    Thank you very much for your reply. I used to have 3.47 and now changed to 4.30, but it made no difference. I re-installed the game, resetted the registry and put them all to IDE/ and it still doesn’t work.

    4. Copy over the cracked content located in the Crack dir on the disc to

    Thanks Cadgers for the reload It work like a charm
    I got a C4 sound problem upon starting it
    but just had to click the DirectX update button in the game
    and it fixed it

    I now try to find out how i get out from the cab and walk around i need to read the manual

    Can i have both the High and low version installed in 2 different folders?

    well, the game is working fine ;) , but i cant move the train! all keys work fine, but throttle does not move!!:S what a bug, anyone knows the problem? i cant even put the default keys…

    I know almost all the subway routes in nYC. What I wanna know is can I drive the subway without closing the door? SO that people fall out of the subway when the subway is running fast.
