    okay, noob question.
    i want to record my exploits/clan exploits on GTA:SAMP, but every time i do it makes my game run really slow, and the vid all pixellated and jerky and just generally bad.
    any advice? do i have to adjust the resolution or what? im new to this. cheers.

    Some videos just defy all efforts to record them, with the possible exception of Download Studio. I haven’t found anything it won’t record yet, but sometimes videos come out a bit choppy. Thanks for this; I’ll give it a try. Stay tuned.

    Yea, you are putting a definate load on your GPU and that will give you the results you are talking about… It would help if you got a better graphix card and maybe some more physical memmory as well? Try reducing the quality and it should help some.. but if you do not have a good video card you are definately not going to get what you want out of recording your gameplay….

    I’ve tried capturing streaming videos from the Internet like this one:

    Most programs designed to capture these videos don’t work at all. This one works to some extent, but the audio is way out of sync and there’s a big red watermark on top for the entire video.

    The only program that works half-way decently for doing what I’m trying to do is Download Studio. Videos are a bit choppy, but otherwise watchable.

    AutoScreen Recorder probably isn’t intended to do what I’m trying, but I gave it a shot anyway. I’ll probably end up pointing a video cam at the monitor. Nothing else seems to work.
