WipeOut S01E01 PDTV XviD-2HD
This new game show from ABC, WipeOut reminds me a lot of the Japanese game show Takeshi’s Castle. 2HD has released this first episode of WipeOut, more information bellow.
Twenty-four contenders compete in an extreme obstacle course designed to provide the most crashes, face plants, impacts and wipe outs ever seen on television. During each one-hour episode, one competitor will win the title of Wipeout champion and $50,000. “Wipe Out” is hosted by John Anderson (ESPN’s “SportsCenter”). Jill Wagner is co-host. “Wipeout” is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding. David Goldberg is the president of Endemol USA. The series is executive produced by Matt Kunitz. Scott Larsen is co-executive producer.

Watched a little bit of it, was not impressed. As stated, it’s just a poor attempt to capture the audiences of shows such as MXC. Now I loved MXC and watched it from the beginning, but this was just boring. If it wasn’t for Jill Wagner I would have watched even less.
what a crappy show. spike tv’s Most Extreme Elimination Challenge rip off with out the funny commentary. show bad
This show is completely rigged so that contestants have to swan dive into the mud. Nothing like Sasuke(Ninja Warrior)or even MXC. Some of the wipeouts are pretty funny though.

yes sc0rff we get that japanese game show on tv 4 in new zealand on the weekends really good fun to watch with the japanese comments made into funny english dialogue.
i thought this was wipeout for the PS1, i was sad when it was not

This is nothing like Takeshi’s Castle, and the comments were terrible. And besides no American can be as fun as the Japanese people, they have no spirit for this.
Its ridiculous to compare this garbage to Takeshi’s caste, the later is a masterpiece on the other hand this just seems like a mound of Dog-poo.
Well, I thought it was hilarious. It’s not about the feat they pull off but the ‘performance’. It’s just meant to be stupidly hilarious.
I’m downloading Takeshi’s castle as we speak btw. I’m certain that’ll be a better show but meh .. I thought the commentary was pretty funny.
