CzW released this very useful application which can help you to mount images like ISO, RAR, ZIP, 7Z, CUE/BIN and many others – as additional drive in windows explorer. Also you can edit/convert mentioned formats too. Read NFO for install instructions.

Description: WinMount provides a new conception and a revolutionary way to use archives. Archives can be directly mounted to a virtual drive or a local folder without extraction.

  • Powerful archives manager – Compress files to MOU/ZIP/7Z; Smart decompress MOU/RAR/ZIP/7Z; Browse MOU/RAR/ZIP/7Z.
  • New concept – Mount archives as virtual hard disk – Mount MOU/RAR/ZIP to a virtual hard disk, use them directly without extraction. Mount archives and folders to an existed local path is also supported.
  • Mount disc images as DVD-ROM/CD-ROM – Mount ISO, BIN/CUE, CCD, BWT, MDS/MDF, NRG, IMG, ISZ as a virtual DVD-ROM; Mount audio formats APE, FLAC, WV as a virtual CD-ROM.

    I tried several times to use this program for rared ISO of games, but I was never able to make it work.
    I used this in conjunction with Power Iso, but suddenly the installation stops at a certain perceptual.
    I tried several games, but with no luck (and yes, these work ok if I decompress them in the normal method).
