Why use this, as all the mails/files are stored by Microsoft anyway. You won’t loose anything even if your computer fails.

Even though I have Outlook I still can’t properly use it on my Live Mail -_-…. I hope this one would do the trick and easy to configure.

Is there any application that I can use to backup my Yahoo email?

@11 – That’s b/c you need OUTLOOK CONNECTOR to sync your Hotmail account with Outlook. To do that you need a legit & validated copy of Outlook otherwise Outlook Connector will not work.
I think Mozilla Thunderbird with the Webmail plugin will allow you to use Yahoo email via an actual desktop program. Never tried it personally though .

Ah, so the Outlook Connector thingy is what I’m missing. But I’m not really a tinker guy, I’ll try this software first before messing around more with Outlook. Thanks for the help.

And about the Yahoo Mail, I hope there would be a program soon that will do the same like this software.

Live Mail is basically Outlook Express updated and rebranded using the same program but just a new look/skin to it.

I find it better than Outlook Express, but I prefer Outlook overall. The Outlook Connector is a small amount of messing around but if you don;t use the additional functions and features of Outlook and only wnt to read/reply to email etc, I’d use Live Mail. You can sync more than one Hotmail/Live address to it also, keeping all of your mail in the one program.

Just take into account that with both Outlook and Live Mail, your emails are saved on your hard drive also, taking up whatever space needed based on your Hotmail account.
So 2Gb used viw Hotmail online means 2Gb on your HDD.

    Hope this helps!
