Windows 7 Activation Tool Kit BETA 1.8-Orbit30

Orbit30 releases a Windows 7 activation tool and a Windows Vista/7 tweaker. But if you don’t have a retail windows 7 your OS will still shutdown on March 2010. I have read some comments on this program, and from the look of it this does work.

With this toolkit you can:

Apply Windows tweaks, enable dreamscenes, remove watermark, activate windows 7, and more.

@17 dont be fooled. no matter what anyone claims, there IS NO RTM VERSION OUT OF WINDOWS 7!! All that was posted here is a home made version. The official Microsoft RTM version will NOT be released before the 1st of September. Anyone claiming that they have an official RTM of this is equal to taking a TS and making a dvd of it and then calling it the dvd rip. It just aint the real thing.

No no, it is (or is possibly, based on confirmation from a couple not-so-reliable sources as well as some basic logic) the final RTM build. There is a difference, though. The final FINAL RTM, the official one, will be multi-lingual with more languages than this. It will also have a completely different copy protection suite that will require something completely different from this activator. For the moment, this unofficial release carries with it the same copy protection as the legit RC release. However, when it comes to features and bug fixes, they are virtually identical.

I still dont understand why people are bothering with these unofficial releases like this. Microsoft is offering FREE RC testing serials legitimately for the 7100 build, a serial which will last until March 2010. This will offer people plenty of time to continue using Windows 7 legitimately, at least giving the scene enough time to develop a working crack…

Didn't work for me – with uac turned off before running it. Came up with various errors and file not found issues on a fresh windows install. Using version: 'MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.7.ULTIMATE.7600.16385.RTM.X86.RETAIL.ENGLISH.DVD-WZT'

  28. get your facts right
    July 20th, 2009 | 20:51

@20 , please get your facts right. official RTM will be released to msdn/technet on july 23/24.

i installed this 2 days ago on my MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.7.ULTIMATE.7600.16385.RTM.X86.RETAIL.ENGLISH.DVD-WZT

didnt have to turn off uac. just run as admin, but i did have to do it twice. still working great. id rather this with a expiry date then only 120 days.

whats funny is the controversy of the build. couple of months ago when the rc leaked people were like "wait for the official release" then the official hit and it was the same build. even if 16385 isnt final its still good. but man im sick of all the leaks lol *prays this is really the final secretly*

but I tried this one, and it worked great

In windows system status it shows its activated, and when I run winver.exe to check the version, there is no timebomb or no expiration date.

For those using the toolkits v1.3, v1.5, v1.8, etc for Windows 7 x64 (16385) and say it's permanently activated, please look at Control Panel -> System and Security -> System….and does the bottom "Windows activation" still show "x days to activate. Activate Windows now" ? Mine still does. If yours says it's activated where I told you to look, please tell me which toolkit version you used.

I have not used any activators, and mine does not have any x amount of days to activate. Im on build 7260. Still have the watermark, but cant b bothered to get the remover, doesn't bother me at all. No crashes, blue screens, problems, ativations needed.

    slmgr.vbs -dlv

It will still show time remaining…

  60. Chilibean
    July 21st, 2009 | 00:41

    July 21st, 2009 | 00:42

Sory lads.. NO RTM yet. NO popper activator yet, they last only 'til 2010. And is not really needed.

To extend the grace period another 30 days("free" from M$), simply start a command prompt as Administrator, and issue this command:

    slmgr -rearm

Now… what is not widely known is this next trick for 7

If you want to continue using 7 for free (compliments of MS).. you simply change this reg key and you can continue to rearm for a fresh 30 days continuously!

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform]
    "SkipRearm"=dword:00000001

After your 3rd reset this key will be 00000000 – simply change it as above to 00000001 — now you can rearm again! Just keep doing this as long as you like

Have fun while waiting for a 'real' RTM :)

I must agree with others I have spoken with, that it is much simpler to stick with the "official" 7100 release which works well and is genuine with the keys supplied by microsoft. I am sure between now and March 2010 an activator will be available with an updatable Windows 7. Very happy with the one I have now.

  71. radex

Final RTM version of Windows 7 will be the 7700 build. So 7600.16385 is the closest thing right now.

  72. Jonathan
    July 21st, 2009 | 06:28

Too much hassle in order to have a version which is not the official RTM any way and is still limited by the same time restrictions. What's the point? Like you even know what they fixed or what they broke in the meantime.

Patience is a virtue…messing with your system through upgrading your OS every time a new version comes out, is not.

RTM is out, however "Real" Microsoft ISO not out yet. The setup files have been leaked, and various "trustworthy" sources on the web already says Microsoft has confirmed the final version to be: "6.1.7600.16385.090713-1255".

Anyways, MS Connect release is supposedly going to be on 24th July.

They are using licensing files from RC version.

Such frankenbuid versions will never survive WGA check.

Additionally you'll get a timebomb again (expiring date)

Don't cripple it by exchanging licensing files. Rearm.

Windows 8 – Life After Windows 7Windows 7 not the last dedicated Microsoft OS !!!!!!!!!!! :-0

  88. Gamerred
    July 22nd, 2009 | 07:12

Works like a charm on X64 7600.16385 release and the release itself is much more solid than my last install which was 7232. I installed the Latest OS twice for personal reasons; the first time the toolkit performed flawlessly, the second time I came upon a few errors, namely because during the reinstall I reset my bios and forgot to set the time and date :-/ Anywho… Once that was delt with, on 3 restarts which were necessary for software installation my activation was wiped but, the toolkit performed as it did the first time to fix this. I reall can't say why this happened but it was easily solved each time. All is well now, installing the remainder of my software.

    Update:
just had a restart for my creative drivers and it did it again, running Toolkit now.
It seems significant system changes affects the activator for some reason.

after running either 1.8 or 1.5, change your system date to the year 2012 or something like that. you will see that the activation is not there anymore.

Does not work with Windows 7 x86-7600.16385. It actulally activates windows, but when you check slmgr.vbs -dlv it shows time remaining till March 2010.
No point to use this activator.

orbit30 v1.5 activator worked fine for me with Win7 Ultimate 7600.16384 x64. Winver shows no time bomb.

I have since found that MS off-line games (Program Files\Microsoft Games) don't run though (on-line ones ok) – no errors just won't run.

Events viewer shows following entry after boot caused by Software Protection Service:

These policies are being excluded since they are only defined with override-only attribute.

Another Win7 32 bit machine activated the same way just shows Telnet entries for similar event & all games work on that machine.

Problem is no big deal but worried that this form of activation may later exclude other apps.
