yeah it does seem to av a virus! avg free detects it but for some reason doesn’t give any option to delete, heal or send to the virus vault, is it a false positive? n yes i am a noob

I’ve already downloaded this file and am using it right now on my PC. Somebody said the keygen doesn’t work. I wouldn’t know that, because I’ve already cracked an earlier version, and it just carried over.

for the past 2 years all winamp torrent releases contained viruses. i stopped downloading them, and i recommend you do the same.
either use the free version from winamp.com, or switch player
AVG Free usually ‘detecs’ every kind of KeyGen as a virus, until now, these ‘detections’ have always been false positives.
I’ve switched to NOD32 now, no more problems with false positives.
winamp + plugins = play every audio file format.

Mcafee virusscan enterprise 8.5i has been going nuts on the lastest CORE keygens. It’s very annoying. I’ve had to disable scanning. Does anyone have a better solution?

Oh no a virus! what shall I do? It’s the end of the world. Anti-viral prog have been intermittently giving false positives on cracks since Adam was a boy well for at least 10 years anyhow and for nearly that long Core have been putting a crc check in their releases. If the files pass CRC it means they haven’t been tampered with and any virus must have been placed by Core. That is laughable I’d trust Core ahead of McAfee or Norton any day.

Winamp is overrated and has fugly design flaws. I still use it though, since for really basic music library functionality mins the anal fiddling it’s pretty good, and skins are always nice. Is there any point in going pro?
You fools, Winamp is good because of its ability to be configured, and in the end, its not the same crappy player you get when you first install it. As for the trojan, since its from a legit group, I’m pretty sure this is just the keygen misleading some scanners like it usually happens, and that its not really a trojan.
so after downloading it, how do i get the setup file….
Why are CORE cracks always failing and virus scanners reporting they are trojans?! They have gone down hill, and should be site banned for this crap. Going on over a year now, these guys are LAME.
so is someone going to explain how to unpack or use this file, as it seems to me there is a bunch of files to join that hjsplit does not like, wtf is the deal?
Just open the .001 file with winrar and continue as usual.

Don’t be fool, there isn’t a virus in keygen, remember the keygen is packed and all packers (format PE), like UPX, FSG, PECompact, etc. has a binary signature and some AV reports virus, Don’t be stupid, no virus found!.
