Why 0 seeds on NTi?
Many of you ask why there are 0 seeds on the torrent. I wanted to post this you to help you know how the system works. The torrents we add on NewTorrents aka NTi are always public and never private. As some of you know, the first torrents appear on private websites and after a while, few hours (sometimes few minutes) also on other sites. We always wait for the first public torrents! When you see 0 seeders on the very fresh torrents it means that the torrent is so fresh that nobody has it completely, but in the reality, somebody has it but the tracker just doesn’t show it. After a while you will see some seeds appearing and then everything is good.
Let’s take an example from a torrent I added a few minutes ago. Alpha Dog has now 0 seeds and 97 leechers. But if you open the torrent in your Torrent Client you will found out that there are seeds available, so don’t be worried, everything will work out just fine.

we use tracker at the pirate bay – and as you all know, it’s a big site. so the thing is there is short lag between updating the stats, it’s not real time as many other trackers and that results into issue described above. but yeah, nothing serious, we always check the torrent before uploading so you don’t have to worry about anything
Yep, many sites have this ” problem ” (Not sure if it can be called problem but.. ^^) not just NTi. Then theres DHT, what makes stats incorrect.

However i find torrent speed is low when i download from NT! I have been using other trackers lately and it is goind much faster… Also sometimes i get tracker errors when i download torrents from from NT and using it in Utorrent however if you use it in Azureus everything seems fine, still downloads is slower…

in a few days I will be able to give invitations from my TL account
I can get banned for giving a invitation to someone who doesn’t seed
so in a few days I will post some rules that people can get from me a TL account (invitation)
you will have to make screenshots or a website that you allready member, that has good ratio.. etc…
i have to think some more rules till then
Yeah be warned that TL isn’t like your normal friendly private site. Basically consider the sites whole purpose is to destroy anything with a shitty upload.
The way it works is if you invite someone who leeches, they get banned, and so do you. I’ve been keeping a good ratio i mostly use TL to see the new releases and get elsewhere then seed via TL that way when I want something they have fast, I can afford it
Anyways, I’m surprised no one thought to clear this up before. The rule of thumb i tell people to go by is, if the site you are at is not the tracker for a particular torrent, the torrent specs (seeds/leechers) are useless an can’t be trusted.
It does say right on the page, or atleast used to say : “0 seeds doesn’t mean 0 seeds so try anyways”
Tho in my defense my first few torrent posts where 1 or 0 seeds because I’m retarded and was making new torrents for releases instead of posting up the torrent.

So why is DHT being disabled? Whenever I download any torrent off NTi, uTorrent always shows “DHT not allowed”. Of course, I could be using a client that doesn’t stick to the “disable dht” tag, like say, BitComet, but I love uT!
So once again, why disable DHT?
we don’t think it is reasonable to spend hundreds thousands dollars to buy a decorating watch. you can use those money to invest in other industry which will return you good profit.
here you just need to spend 100-200 dollars to buy a replica rolex watches.
