White Stripes – Icky Thump Promo (2007)
The White Stripes are releasing a new album in june called “Icky Thump” and group XXL has released a promo single from thier soon to release album “Icky Thump”. The White Stripes are grammy winners in the category of rock. I don’t know what to say about the White Stripes everybody has heard of them and are probably big fans. I’m listening to the single right now and it sounds really good.
Icky Thump (derived from “Ecky-Thump”, a Yorkshire colloquialism) is the announced title of the sixth studio album by The White Stripes. Its completion was announced February 28, 2007, with a release date of June 18 in the UK and Europe, and June 19 for the rest of the world.
Pre-released artwork for the CD cover shows a photograph by Autumn de Wilde, who also photographed the cover of the Raconteurs CD, Broken Boy Soldiers.
The White Stripes is a Grammy Award-winning American rock music duo from Detroit, composed of songwriter Jack White on guitar, piano, lead vocals, and Meg White on drums, percussion and vocals. The group rose to prominence as part of the garage rock revival with the albums White Blood Cells and Elephant. The White Stripes are known for their raw low fidelity sound and the simplicity of their compositions and arrangements mostly inspired by punk rock, American blues, Folk rock, and country music.. July 14, 2007 marks the tenth anniversary of the band.

I find their “songs” repetitive and irritating. THe woman is weird although I would like to give her a golden shower.
White Stripes Rock …and of course some of their songs are gunna sound a lil the same, its their style of music duh! …and why you guys on about Limp bizkit and Linkin Park … this is White Stripes… anywho ive loved this band for ages and am trying to get all their albums, i cant wait to see if they make a new one!!
