Here OMiCRON brings us a new series which premiered on Animal Planet yesterday. The show follows Captain Paul Watson, founder of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, as he and his crew attempt to non-violently deter Japanese ships that hunt whales in the name of research.

    Lots of mercury in tuna also.

    Japanese people have the highest life expectancy rate (and are usually in the top 3 when not #1). The USA is in the high 30’s of all countries. Obviously their diet is healthier.

    Meat is the primary reason for killing whales, dolphins, and everything else they pull out of the oceans. Watch a documentary called Earthlings, I think they’ve posted it free on YouTube, it shows how brutal and inhumane their hunting practices are. I’m not talking about just killing, I’m talking about injuring a family member because they know they wont abandon them so they wont get away. Or killing the mother knowing the baby will follow so they’ll get it later. Watch the whole documentary and you’ll never look at a burger the same way again. seriously. :-)
