Quite interesting…

Never been a Mac man myself.

Being from the UK, I guess they were popular in the US.

I wish someone would do a definitive documentary on the birth of the British Micro’s

It would be nice to see old Sir Clive et al talk about Sinclair etc, etc.

anono (#70), as of a year or so ago, Taiwanese notebook manufacturer Quanta Computer was Apple's premier notebook assembler (following a shift of orders from Asustek Computer, also based in Taiwan). HP also contracted with Quanta for 10 million notebooks, while Dell ordered substantially less (if you can call 5-7 million units "less") due to their moving most of its mainstream notebook production to Taiwan-based Compal Electronics.

and there are many more regarding this particular case if you spend a few minutes on google.
many of us are quite respectable people, and consider this more of a "hobby" than anything else.
in my case(and many others), throwing a few bucks to a well deserved cause is not a problem, but actually ordering a dvd is just not something i do.
You also get the added bonus of truly honest opinions from some of the "most experienced movie watchers/reviewers" in the world!

I had a spectrum Z1 then vic 20 then the bbc that takes me back a lot of years as for apple now i was reading on this site that apple laptops are made by HP correct me if wrong i dont care who makes what where when all i want is a good OS and so far XP or even ME kicked but but as said linux are catching up quick
