Martin Lawrence’s latest comedy Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins has been brought to us in a full screen screener, which for most people is nothing to get excited over, and the 2.8 rating on IMDB is a big turn off. If you want to see this movie badly than get this release, but if you can wait for better quality, do so.
Quality: Its 4:3 as I already mentioned, but other than that, this release is pretty good. The nfo says that AC3 5.1 audio is included but when I run the file through GSpot, it says MP3 stereo, so the nfo is wrong. The video quality is pretty typical for a 2CD release with a res of 640×484 (nuke for bad res coming?) and a nice bitrate of 1434kbit/s.
Dr. RJ Stevens (Martin Lawrence) is a talk-show host who has built a mega-successful career for himself while simultaneously completely denying his humble Southern roots. Returning home for his parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, the good doctor hopes to impress the small-town rubes who tormented him as a child with his fat bank roll and sophisticated airs. However, his family is completely unimpressed with how much of a snob Stevens has become and do their best to deflate his swelled head so he can rejoin the human race.

Quality is very OK
What they mean by this is that it is NOT DVD quality. It looks more like VHS rip. Damn, I wish the posters would be more specific about the quality. I wouldn’t have wasted 30 mins downloading this if I would have known.
But you know what, “The Secret” says to have an attitude of gratitude. So, thank you for this site. Thank you for the poster. Thank you for the person in the 3rd world country who is still being sent screeners on VHS tapes and rippped it for all of us to see and know that some people in this world still have VCR’s.

and ive got to say that this is another clear cut case of everyone being to scared of being called ‘racist’ that they allow people to make disasters like this.
Just call it what it is and maybe we will see the quality of this ‘type’ of movie go up…but until then all thats happening is everyones standing around looking nervous and embarrassed while heres a steaming pile sitting right there in front of them

An NZB is kind of like a torrent file (for BitTorrent), except that it downloads from Usenet Newsgroups (which you’ve probably never heard of).
Newsgroups are one of the oldest parts of the net. They were originally meant to transfer only text messages, but someone figured out a way to post files and now they’re a huge pirate heaven. The idea is that each ISP runs its own news server (or outsources to another company) and when something is posted to one server, it gets sent to every other server as well.
The good news: Your ISP probably offers newsgroup access as part of your account.
The bad news: If they don’t outsource to a professional news provider, your newsgroup access will *SUCK*. Guaranteed.
The semi-good news: You can pay for your own account (either a block account or a monthly account) and have access to everything the newsgroups provide; Movies, TV shows, games, porn, etc. Not just recent stuff either, people are constantly posting old stuff that others have requested or that they just want to share.
You either browse the groups for what you want, or use a newsgroup search site to find what you’re looking for and then generate an NZB file for it.
Pros: Large selection, downloading is 100% safe, fast speed, post requests or talk to the uploaders.
Cons: Somewhat more work than using Rapidshare or BitTorrent, old posts get cycled off in favor of new ones (retention).
Are newsgroups worth the effort? In my opinion, YES!

I could go on. You want me to list Latina or Asian actors next? It is really disheartening to see people dismiss a movie just based on who’s acting in it or the nationality or the race of said actors/actresses.
If you’ve watched a few films with black actors playing the majority of the roles and you don’t want to chance on those types of movies in the future, that’s fine. But as I will always believe, making an opinion on something you have never bothered to really look into is ignorant. Whether the comment be good or bad.
People always come onto the internet and make comments just to spite people and because they have nothing better to do.
Coming here and saying something sucks helps no one. Maybe if you actually watched the movie, and gave a comprehensive explanation as to why you think it “sucks”, that would be great.
If you haven’t got anything coherent to say, then don’t post. Leave the space for people who really care about the movie, and for people who comment on the quality of the release.

If that’s the case, RLSLOG should stop releasing Cams. It’s not DVD quality, but it’s still way better than CAM. I would rather watch VHS quality over CAM quality anyday!

Not any better than others. Same ‘VHS’ quality. Audio is ‘okay’ but video is sub-par. Watchable, but not crisp image quality. Tried some filter tweaks and no real improvement.
If this is it for current releases, I advise waiting for DVDRip.

Hollywood caters mostly to white audiences, so if you think a bunch of black actors/actresses are getting together and trying to freeze whites out of their movies, you’re a clown. It’s the other way around. You’ll find plenty of solid minority actors/actresses who simply can’t get parts in mainstream film even though they’re more talented than many of the white ones that you can find screwing up movies all over hollywood. Studios aren’t gonna take chances on interracial relationship issues in movies most of the time, so unless you have a token black couple in a movie, it’s a wrap. And for the most part, you’ll only find a black man in mainstream movies if he’s the token funny black guy, as will smith was before he established himself…eddie murphy…martin lawrence, etc. Hollywood is a big coward and caters to white people much more than anything else.
