If you post offtopic movies like this the site becomes your personal blog. This site would be better if it stayed as Release Log and not an offtopic personal blog. I did enjoy the video, I just don’t think this site is where I should have seen it.

He has a pretty freaky vertical video up on youtube as well. The guy can almost jump over most peoples heads. I think is vertical is like 5 feet or something. Look it up its pretty nasty. Wonder if he can shoot, or just plans on remaining part of the dunk team he tours with.

the first few seconds were nice, but after that it got tiring. same over and over. he’s ok, but what matters is if he can shoot the ball. @19, i doubt only american care about basketball. many countries are gaining populairty over years now.

So this guy doesn\’t even play professional basketball? Big deal, he can jump up to a hoop, but if he can\’t do it in a game with guys defending the net, then what good is he?
Try it with real, live men on the court instead of just a parked car and see if you can still get it in the net. Big difference.

sure he’s got hops but why isn’t he making millions in NBA? some people have skills on the street courts but when it comes to professional basketball, they become bench warmers or don’t even make the cut at all. take the and-1 guy Rafer Alston aka Skip To My Lou, he’s going crazy on the street courts but he became a bench warmer in the pro’s. is it me does some of those rims look like they’ve been lowered?

Here in the UK, we play manly sports like rugby and football…none of these baby sports that involve dribbling a ball around and dropping it into a hoop.
This is why the US is in such despair, they concentrate on dumb achievments like jumping high instead of healthcare and education for their people.
*shakes head* it takes skill to be among the elite in basketball just as much as any other sport..coming from a canadian, not an american by the way.

I read an interview he did. He says his jump ability is the result of being very elastic. He says he stretches 3-5 hours a day, and that anyone with the time and discipline can develop this type of elastic jumping.
Not that I know sweet F-A about basketball… but aint he meant to bounce the ball, otherwise it’s travelling?

To say that only Americans care about basketball is very naive. The NBA has been losing popularity ever since Michael Jordan retired and is nowhere near as popular as football or baseball.
To add to my point, the other night’s game between the Rockets and the Bucks (featuring a matchup of Yi Jianlian and Yao Ming from China) was broadcast on 39 Chinese TV stations and drew a crowd MORE THAN DOUBLE last year’s Superbowl.
To add even a little more to my point, look at how TEAM USA has been faring against the rest of the world since 1992. Basketball is a world sport now, far less popular in America than you would think.
Those are my 2 cents – and oh yeah, I LOVE THIS GAME!

I’d just like to say that i am totally fine with a few off-topic posts every now and then, as long as it’s on days with few releases. And to those complaining about the off-topic posts, keep it clean maybe? suggestions are fine but when you sound like your in charge, maybe you should re-think who really runs this site. Just be thankful for a site as awesome as rlslog. It’s ok to have an opinion, and it’s fine to tell the rlslog team what you think about the site and all, but don’t be flaming them just because you would run the site differently.
