Weekend video: Tata Dicor ad
Adding one funny video at the end of the week seems to work quite well so I’ll continue in this tradition with another short clip. It’s nothing too funny this time, but rather impressive: a TV commercial aired in India for Tata Dicor, and offroad car. I love the music and overall flow of this ad, it’s simply cool.

As far as advertisements go, I guess it was ok. But what I’m most interested in, is what the song is. I agree with Jon that it’s similar to “Requiem For A Dream,” but that’s not what it is.

yeah, it very similar. Its probably the same composer or maybe a bit taken from one of the soundtrack songs.

I think they just ripped the idea for the music from Requiem… and altered it just enough to get away with copyrights. I don’t think Clint Mansell got a penny from this ad…
I agree – the commercial is good and would have given me goosebumps, if only it wasn’t a rip-off.

If you must know these are the same people who design softwares for BMW cars as well(outsourced to TATA Consultancy Services aka TCS), but apparently they cant seem to put things well on their own 2.0L Dicor car

Every Tata imported to the uk lasts about 6 month before its in the scrappy brown n rusty or used as a hack on the building sites.Crap cars!

for this brand of cars, id’e always take a toyota land cruiser or mitsubishi Pajero. they arn’t the best, but for their price+look its a great deal.

Cmon RLSLOG I’ve been coming to this site since the beginning and love it but posting news like this is inexcusable. There’s so many movies, tv shows and albums out there to feature how about doing that instead of posting youtube vids. This is a site for releases right? Have you guys forgotten this already?
