Weeds S03E04 PREAIR DVDRip XviD-SiTV
The word on the internet right now, is whether all these TV leaks (aka: PREAIRS) are actually dileberately tossed out by the studios for the scene to release, in turn to generate some free publicity. I find that hypothesis unlikely, and we will likely never know because a studio would never admit to it because of ‘OMG my copyrightz‘ . Nevertheless, what ever is going on is good for me and you, and that’s all I care about.
SiTV keeps its success ball rolling on the Fourth leaked episode of weeds season three. This newly pre’d episode (just today) is so new, that there are no episode summaries for the episode on TV.com .

It si possible that they are deliberately leaked, all the preairs have all been dvd quality so far… and I am aware that a lot of big businesses these days use viral marketing.
Anyways, weeds rules but I’m not gunna watch the pre-airs.. I jsut had to wait many, many months to get past that last cliffhanger and I don’t wanna be put in that possision again!
I would agree with the hypothesis - it causes a buzz - word of mouth is the best advertising known to mankind. And if you can cause a buzz at the cost of a few 1000 eyeballs…. I think it would be naive to think otherwise

Antoher one! Yay!! This season has been fantastic so far! The other three are awesome! But how many will be leaked? I think this season we are supposed to get 15 eps of weeds and not 10! With all of these eps, at some point we will have to wait a couple of weeks to get to the newest! But who cares! This show rocks!

Of course this is from Showtime…they did the same thing last season with Weeds, allowing the first four episodes to be leaked out on the internet.
You’re all retarded. Showtime sends screener copies out to critics to get reviews and press, and someone leaks the episodes. THAT’S WHY THEIR OTHER TWO BIG SHOWS WERE LEAKED… WOW!

While the quality of these shows is very good, they are not the finished product. I would not call these DVD quality.
The audio post of these shows is not finished. In several places you can hear on location audio for some actors that is very quiet and includes a fair bit of background noise. I have also noticed one point where the dialog for U-Turn is another voice entirely. Errors like this tell me either Showtime should hire me for audio post or it’s not a finished product for broadcast.
Whatever that case, I’m glad to have these pre-airs to watch.
I have just been contacted by my ISP who in turn were contacted by Lions Gate about me downloading these episodes…hmmm…yep, BULLSH!T
