Only just recently released in DVDRip, and you can already enjoy this interesting movie in yummy HD thanks to SEPTiC who have based themselves as one of the best x264 groups out there. The movie is filled with big name actors such as Joaquin Phoenix, Robert Duvall and Mark Wahlberg and promises to be an exciting crime thriller. Reviews decent, IMDB score good, conditions ripe for a fun 2 hour (almost) ride.

Synopsis: Director James Gray (THE YARDS) posits two distinctly different brothers–Joseph (Mark Wahlberg) and Bobby Grusinsky (Joaquin Phoenix)–as the central characters in this crime-infested thriller. Joseph and Bobby inhabit two conflicting worlds in late 1980s New York, the former becoming a cop and the latter running a nightclub. Bobby spends his evenings in a den of iniquity, indulging in drugs, alcohol, and gambling, and his model-like girlfriend Amada (Eva Mendes) is never far from his arm.

    I’m not really surprised about it, it’s just the way the scene responds to threats from the non-scene trying to put the attention on this site and trying to bring it down. The releasegroup was problably hoping for some mindless and eager ddos kids to be still awake.. Ow well, its the way it goes i guess. I was just hoping for a fun responds :)

    Someone fill me in on something please.
    This like other Blu-ray rips are less than 5Gb’s in size.
    How is this possible and what are you missing? If Blu-ray movies hold so much how is it that you can get it for only this small amount of GB’s and not lose quality?

    DVD movies come on a 4.7 GB DVD and you can compress them down to 700 MB. That’s nearly 7 times smaller.

    that is true. When you take a DVD and rip it and compress you get the 700mb but you don’t have a menu and what not and all the audio versions are not there (DTS) as well as special features.

    Isn’t the whole point of having the Blu-ray rip to have all the menu options and sound as well? When you get a Blu-ray dvd rip like this am I correct in assuming you get only the movie and all the audio options?

    do you have a bluray burner? can you afford $20 per bluray? do you want to download 25gb-50gb just to watch a 2 hour movie? whole bluray rips such as now we have dvdr will start coming out in about 2 years imo. the big problem is blurays costing $20 a pop and take about an hour to burn. i have a usenet account so it wouldnt be so bad for me but for those using private trackers i feel bad, i wont even mention those trying to download off of tpb, mininova, or isohunt.

    Why don’t you post the rotten tomatoes scores anymore? They’re a far better indicator if a movie is any good, the folks at imdb seem to be 8 year olds, or perhaps work on the film themselves. I saw one of them gave Brothers Solomon a 10/10 review. Is that you, Bob Odenkirk?

    This movie was plain-out boring — take The Departed and boil off any sense of tension or grit. I agree with funkyj44, I was hoping to like this movie, but found myself forwarding through it to save time.

    The 8 year olds here may like it, however.

    You are a hypocrite. You call the people who like this film immature, yet the reason for that is just because you don’t like the film? Yes though, you were right about the film, it was boring.

    That doesn’t mean you should call those who enjoyed the movie immature, just because you didn’t like it. I think someone needs to take a look at themselves, and grow up.

    this file is mos def f’d up, u can watch it on your pc but it wont convert via gotsent or mkv2vob i doubt its a real septic release because septic realeses always convert

    Hi paparay! Download this file for unicode enabled windows os (NT, 2000, XP or newer). Works fine with Vista Ultimate (tested). With this one you can attach the subtitles withhin MKV (matroska files) very simply. ENjoy!

    quality rating is 9/10 partially grainy but perfect aspect ratio
