WE DID IT! 100.000 UNIQUES A DAY!

It took less shorter amount of time than we all thought. After my latest post about breaking the 90 thousand barrier, here comes way cooler message: RELEASELOG officially went through 100 000 unique visitors a day. Actually, it’s even better, because our server registered unbelievable 107 314 uniques yesterday. Talk about progress!

We all thought this will happen some day during the winter, most likely Sunday, which is the day with most visitors during the week. ALL WRONG! The new releases of Prison Break, season start of Heroes and many other interesting releases like FIFA 08 all posted today attracted this fabulous number of visitors. And the good news don’t stop here: we are already in process of adding another server for RLSLOG, which should mean even faster loading of this website. Where’s the next challenge, 200 thousand? Who knows. Let’s start the party!

PS: Here are some nice stats for you based on 1 year+ of tracking the visitors of this site: last 20 weeks, last 20 months, hours of the day, countries, continents, browsers, operating systems and screen resolution.

    in the future i would like to see a little more metal stuff, it seems like you kinda skip over stuff like marilyn manson, cradle of filth and such, but you still rule!

    slightly agrees with ’sliverofflesh’..

    although i would like to see more extreme metal releases on offer (hard to get if not using emule) such as black/viking metal

    subsections of music genres would be also really good for navagating through the site (while still keeping much of the info on newtorrents)

    This is the first site in a long time that knocked google of my startpage. Which is much more important then your 10k unique hits a day. Although i’ll keep using the site to get Belgium a bit higher up there :D

    Congrads!!! This has replaced my previous start up page of myspace (yeah I know whatever). You all offer great advice and have helped to not only point me towards some great movies, but limit the number of wasteful dvd buys at the store. We must continue to spread the word as I run into everyone still asking about new scene releases and their quality on every p2p site. The answer to that question gents and ladies is release log.

    please try not to focus on quantity of visitors, it could become an obsession.
    focus on quality and ’speed’ of new posts instead.

    and by the way looking at the browser chart really made me think that being a fn of opera browser i see not many of them are there and those who are there havent upgraded
    6131 for opera 8 and just 1163 for 9 evenwhen 9’s been out for months now but then firefox and firefox 1.5 and hell even netscape and mozilla browsers are more in numbers

    Its really crazy looking how lazy people are or is it just that change is tough for some of them

    and yes nice to see india being the top asian country now that we are ruling the sporting world for this month good job
    keep these kinda stats coming feels good to be a part of it
