The BOX office of “Watchmen” dropped dramastically in the 2nd week, which was not a surpeise to me, as I said before, the story was just not the one I like. :) Anyway, I just saw that NODLABS released a “Watchmen” animation named “Tales of the Black Freighter”. From the director of Watchmen and 300 come two tales from the celebrated graphic novel that do not appear in the extraordinary Watchmen Theatrical Feature. Tales of the Black Freighter (featuring the voice of 300’s Gerard Butler) brings to strikingly animated life the novels richly layered story-within-a-story, a daring pirate saga whose turbulent events may mirror those in the Watchmen’s world. Not a standard DVDRip size, only 233MB, with English sub, enjoy!

PLOT: A mariner survives an attack from the dreaded pirates of the Black Freighter, but his struggle to return home to warn it has a horrific cost.

    Thanks for this, been eagerly awaiting it! I saw Watchmen in the cinema and I still know know if I liked it or not (except Rorschach, who was brilliant!) but I loved the original comic series. This sholud be good, at least going by the trailer…

    not up for a slagging but never really got the watchmen really….to dark and serious…..and to be honest the film stinks so not suprisingly its falling in the charts

    watchmen was a good movie. I feel sorry for those that don't understand it. I didn't even read the comic, and I still thought it was great. Going to B&N soon.

    I've never read the comic and I was surprised I really liked the movie a lot…opinion is harshly divided on it…but i noticed a lot of total re tards who probably expected Iron Man 2 or something leaving…

    I understand people not liking it for certain reasons but people who say it's 'boring' are mentally deficient..

    Where the heck are you guys getting that Watchmen didn't do well in the box offices? It's already grossed more than its $120 million budget, it hasn't even been out for two weeks. It'll do phenomenally well with Blu-Ray sales too, because of the type of movie it is.

    Anyone who feels the need to correct anyone's grammar on the internet must really be frustrated in the real world. Maybe you guys are so "smart," but no one notices because you're a freckle-face or people just don't care. That's sad. By all means, do something about it, but not on the web — because it's the last place that will make you look smart.

    The meaning and the ideas that the movie wanted to expose us were great and the execution was lovely. I'd already downloaded it and seen it once and yesterday i was at the movies to see it a second time cause it deserved it.

    A strong movie that makes you think about our world and what we are doing to it.

    The only problem is that the masses are not ready to see that cause in order to understand the movie you must think and that takes effort. People dont want to strugle to understand things.

    See for example V for Vendeta. A comic about freedom, revolution, ideology. But it is all well explained to the audience. Hence the great reviews ;)

    Anyways. Time to DL this and watch it.

    PS. Dont take things personally. Opinions are like asses. Everyone has one ;)

    Althought STV movies kinda act like a deterrent to me, this was a very nice short story, totally inside the dark atmosphere of watchmen. I hope the Under The Hood will be equally good.
