Wooohoo, now for those of you that were patient enough to wait here is the DVD rip of Watchmen thanks to JUMANJi . Based on the 1986-1987 comic book series Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. Set in an alternate-history 1985, Watchmen follows a group of former vigilantes as tensions heighten between the United States and the Soviet Union while an investigation of an apparent conspiracy against them uncovers something even more grandiose and sinister. I saw this movie in the cinemas and i loved it, highly recommend watching this. Enjoy!

Note: Accoding to comments on various sites this is not the Directors cut, so personally ill wait for that since its an extra 24 minutes longer.

“Watchmen” is set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the “Doomsday Clock” – which charts the USA’s tension with the Soviet Union – is permanently set at five minutes to midnight. When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion – a ragtag group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers – Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Their mission is to watch over humanity… but who is watching the Watchmen?

    Watchmen (2009).DVDSCR.XviD-REAL is 180 min longer, this one is just 162 min, this one must be the short theatrical cut. looks like REAL did a better job :) i'll pass this one.

    Runtime: cd1=79mns | cd2=80mns | overal= 160 mns : 2h40m
    While Real Extendend Directors Cut release was 3h long!!!!!!!

    can any1 actually confirm that this is NOT the extended director's cut? if you look at the info for the REAL DVDSCR, its says runtime of 162 minutes, same as this one, but the dvdscr is actually 3 hrs long.

    @20 , REAL probably copied the runtime from imdb or something like that as it is 162 min in cinemas and the DC is 8 or 10 min longer (2h50m)

    I had posted Extended Directors Cut several times yesterday and my comments kept getting edited by someone. I don't understand why. The dvdscr is choppy because it has a weird frame rate, which can be corrected.

    The audio is MONO AC3 encode :( Shame as the audio for this movie was pretty awesome in the theaters. Time to disregard the rules and just rip this movie with 480p resolution and full 5.1 audio. What's the point of trying to compress an epic into 2 CDs????

    CORRECTION – It's 5.1 audio in Windows Media Player, but there is something not right as PS3 only sees it as 1 channel AC3.

    I wish people would stop releasing films with 6.1 channel sound as I am unable to convert it to DVD without losing the sound, and no software I have can extract the audio to a different format to allow re-encoding. Basicly, I can't keep this film unless I can find a "normal" version with stereo sound.
    Also, the rlslog links to this movie download ok but are both corrupted and can't be unRared.

    Anywaus why cant you convert them to DVD ? what program do you use when you convert? try convertxtodvd, works great everytime.

    Nick @150. Yeah that's really bad that people keep releasing films with 5.1 sound. Why wont people learn that not even stereo, but mono sound, is the way to go. While they're at it why must they keep releasing films in high definition as I can't retain the quality on my Betamax tapes.

    @ 150 Use a different converting software because you are missnig some codec. Try VSO_Software_ConvertXtoDVD, it has always worked for me in Windows. Re-download from another source. It is not like RLSlog does all the encoding. You are going to need to need to fix YOUR problem if you want converting to DVD to work properly

    Nick No.150 Try the free AVI2DVD, follow the odd rules about file names and locations and the 5.1 sound will be retained. Text subs can be added as can multiple stream audio tracks. A simple menu can be created, but don't save as an ISO as the DVD files are too big. Use DVD shrink in the high quality "Deep Analysis" mode to correct the length.

    The HOTFILE download RAR files aren't corrupt, they've been misnamed. MW1.part3.rar is actually MW2.part3.rar and vice versa. Just rename the files and they should extract
