We have the original cut DVDRip of the movie “Watchmen” released the other day, and here is the director cut verion from group HNR. WHAT? Isn’t it some private tracker’s rule, HIT AND RUN? No, it stands for HONOR :) Anyway, it’s a 2CD release with sub included, however, not AC3 audio. Pick it up if you like.

PLOT: “Watchmen” is set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the “Doomsday Clock” – which charts the USA’s tension with the Soviet Union – is permanently set at five minutes to midnight. When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion – a ragtag group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers – Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Their mission is to watch over humanity… but who is watching the Watchmen?”

    uh, axxo most definitely did release this as a 900 mb rip. Those who doubt are wrong, but axxo sucks balls. Delete his garbage and wait for 3 disc ac3 release. 850kbs video bitrate is not acceptable.

    dot is right, I made the other dvdrip on one cd with both vids on it and the quality was poop. You need a 2 cd version if you have a high def tv. If you have an older model tv set, then 1 cd rip wouldn't matter for this movie. But new models like 1080 46 inch tv you can see blur and it looks like poop if you have 1 cd.

    O, from reading the posts i got my answer, not that i asked.. lol but i was wondering if the directors cut ment the cut some scenes out to make them movie more kids appropriate or whatever, like the did with "The Passion of the Christ".. I think that was directors cut or whatever, or if it was the movie unedited for theaters.. but like i said from readin got my answer… this should be a wakeup call to noobs.. it really does payoff to read before you post.. lol

    Director's Cut's in general adds footage that was not included in a theatrical release for many reasons including total length, keeping the pace of the scene, obtaining a suitable classification or rating. Director's Cut's are seen as a means of showing footage to a D.V.D. audience that was not available to a cinema audience and some of it is especially shot for that purpose. You could expect a short scene to be removed from a theatrical release to be replaced with a different, longer scene.

    EXEcutable files require only to be double clicked on to enable the execution of the code within. The problem is you do not know what is within. Some EXEcutable are made with WinZip or WinRar and are called self extracting archives, this means you do not require WinZip or WinRar installed on your computer to extract the contents. However why create an executable file or a self extracting achieve other than conceal the contents so any unexpecting novice will get stung with various nasties. Try looking into the executable by opening it with WinRar and WinZip. If you can do it then you can see what is inside. If you can't then erase the file immediately.

    Further to my response above. To open a file in WinZip or WinRar first open the programme (WinZip or WinRar) and drag the EXEcutable file into it. Or open the programme and use File – Open Archive and navigate to your EXEcutable file.

    Great, just what this film needed, to be even longer and more excrucitating than before, they could use Watchmen as an interrogation technique in Gitmo. I actually watched this in the theatres and it is a pretty bad film, a lot of pretentious crap for over 2 hours and an average "battle" at the end, its like watching a dumb person trying to act clever. Watchmen was relevant in the 80's, it just doesn't work in 2009

    @133 Intr0: I agree! The 'scene' is a joke now. The rules have not been updated for years, and groups are getting slacker and slacker at conforming to those rules (ie Watchmen DC needs to be a 3 CD rip according to scene rules).

    Redo the rules and make movies one single AVI only! Who the heck burns movies to CD anyway? Most standalone XviD players only read XviD's on DVD anyway – not CD!

    Hey groups: since no one is paying attention to rules anyway, just set the new standard with your new releases!
    1. Make a single file AVI (You don't see MKV files split into CDs do you???)
    2. RAR it using 100MB or larger parts. No more of this 15MB part garbage!
    3. Don't do stupid things like ZIP the RAR and then RAR the ZIP! Making us extract the movie a thousands times before we actually extract the AVI!

    If you watched this film expecting to see a brainless action flick,of course you are disappointed,as it is not such – and never intended to be. Nor did the comic,of course.

    So go ahead and watch Transformers if you want explosions,chases and one-liners.

    hey guys while i was downloading part 5 of the rars it became unavailable, i got the first cd but CD 2 was corrupted because of the missing part 5 from COA:

    Watchmen.DC.DVDRip.XviD-HNR.by.RapidRise.org.part5.rar

    is there anyway someone could either upload this or seperate the cds into two uploads
