@93: That's because 1280×720 is 16:9 not 2.35:1. No use in compressing those black bars. Also, common sense.

I will wait for a BDRIP(1280x~550+AC3) of about 3GB of the Directors cuts. I saw this movie on the theather and I sleep whiling watching… It was quite good. But a 3 hours movie I better be at home watching it on my 42"

ok ok this whole transformers 2 vs. watchmen is getting me in the mood to throw in my thoughts as well:

transfomers 2: just good ole mindless action fun with characters you just dont care about…actually the only beings i cared about were the autobots…so yes i have to say i really liked that movie BUT the only thing annoying in this movie was actually those wannabe-sexy-shots from that "new rising female sexy-star"…..what was her name again ? yeah shes so hot n sexy i dont even remember her name.

watchmen: good character developement, great gore-scenes, great action…yeah i understand for some people it was a little too long and at times a little bit boring but all in all its a great flick with a freshly new kind of superheroes, not the typical superhero-flick youre used to from batman and co., and the whole atmosphere in this movie was also good..someway colorful but also dark at the same time.

Transformers is a blockbuster scoring in young teenagers eyes for its clueless endless action, tough super-hero "I saved the world again" lines and ultra "hot" wannabe-actresses (which i wouldn't touch with a sixty-foot pole). But under the shell there's nothing worth watching actually. I must agree that the technical part of a movie was fascinating, but I'm not watching a movie for its FXs or some mindless action scenes, cause any studio can do the same and there's a fu*k load of these films today. I appreciate lack of action and some psychology in this movie and as a reply to you kids – I bet I was more boring watching T2 than you did with Watchmen.

geez, ain't here really more than 3 grown up people on this site? if you don't like the movie, why do you whine about it instead of watching your immature Transofmers crap? give me any site where Transformers 2 stands better in ratings than Watchmen and maybe I'll say that T2 is worth watching (which is not, I fell asleep 2 times in these 3 boring hours).
