How can it be over 4GB? Easy, it’s a disc image. And thanks to the way in which Nintendo writes its discs, the disc is always full, even if the game only takes a tiny portion of the disc space. The remainder is filled with “junk data”. There’s a utility called WiiScrubber which replaces the junk data with blank space, so that the files can be compressed really well. Admittedly, when you uncompress the file for burning, the size pops back up to 4.3GB. This release has not been WiiScrubbed, thus it’s 4.3GB.
