Warhammer 40000 Dawn of War Soulstorm CRACKFIX-ViTALiTY

As stated in my previous WH40k Soulstorm article, there was a problem with the crack from both RELOADED (the one included with the game) as well as the crack by ViTALiTY. Well at least ViTALiTY now bring you a crackfix which should solve all the problems. The game should now run as smoothly as a bought copy AND start normally. Enjoy.

ViT Note: Our VM interpreting tool switched 2 resolved game commands by place. At least we do the real cracking + fix mistakes. Quality above quantity is what we aim for.

    it fixed the program not picking up the Dark Crusade install properly in order to let you unlock those races. if you had DC installed (or the regkeys still existed and soulstorm thought you still had it installed) it would crash on load.

    Interestingly no crack from ViTALiTY works for me :( (the game just crashes on load, just like it did with first crack). But I can play the game with original reloaded crack (it doesn`t look like i have any performance issues with it, I must try it on other computer).

    Starcraft was way overated this game has more of everything and its seems pretty balanced for 9 races, this game is at least 3 times the game starcraft was. And i loved Starcraft.

    Warhammer 40,000 is what Starcraft was based upon, much as Warcraft was based on regular Warhammer. It’s interesting to compare the two, but they’ve diverged as Intellectual Properties. It’s interesting to compare them, but it is no longer valid to really say one is better than the other.

    At least not until SC2 actually comes out… because it’s unfair to compare a new game against a game more than 10 years old.

    It seems that the fixed Vitality crack will do that if the DVD is not in the drive or the image is not mounted.

    first- download promotrainer at Cheathappens, and Demo version trainer too, second’s run the game soulstrom, and run the both of trainer exe (promo and demo) hit F1 and hit option , it’s work, try’ it

    Can someone help me with the Soulstorm crack? The Reloaded one doesn’t work and the same with Vitality (incl. vty-169 & vty-171). The game always crashes to desktop whenever I try to get into the Army Painter.

    - Install Soulstorm like normal.
    - Apply 1.1 patch
    - Download small fixed image from here. (it says its chinese, don’t worry about it though)

    - Unzip etc. You will get two files. One is called “NS-DWSS_SR-poseden.mds”.
    - Download latest Daemontools Lite. I’m using V4.30.1.
    - Mount “NS-DWSS_SR-poseden.mds” in daemontools. Don’t worry about turning safedisk emulation on. Just install it, mount “NS-DWSS_SR-poseden.mds”, and then run Soulstorm.
    - Enjoy the patched game.

    Note: This worked on Vista x64. Cheers.
