War PROPER DVDRip XviD-ViTE
Chaps from old school group ViTE released a proper of a decent thriller “War”. This dvdrip was first pred by iMBT but nuked later for grp.req / dupe. If you like action movies, you are gonna love this as it stars Jason Statham against Jet Li in the main roles. Quality is on average level, may be a 2 CD version with AC3 audio would be fine because of many action scenes and a fairly long runtime…
After his partner Tom Wynne (Terry Chen) and family are killed apparently by the infamous and elusive assassin Rogue (Jet Li), FBI agent Jack Crawford (Jason Statham) becomes obsessed with revenge as his world unravels into a vortex of guilt and betrayal. Rogue eventually resurfaces to settle a score of his own, setting off a bloody crime war between Asian mob rivals Chang (John Lone) of the Triad’s and Yakuza boss Shiro (Ryo Ishibashi). When Jack and Rogue finally come face to face, the ultimate truth of their pasts will be revealed.

I’m curious – if iMBT pre’d before ViTE then why did they request a nuke because of dupe? Surely ViTE is the one who should have done that…

Only problem with this movie is it has no ending. When i first watched it i thought the video was cut or something.. very bad.

The minimum for 2CD according to the TDX has to be 105 minutes. It’s close but it’s within the rules.
@ 12. Most places in the world don’t have high-speed internet yet. Xvid/divx aren’t going away anytime soon.

Actually, about 70% of the internet world uses broadband. The difference in DVD-R and Xvid quality is significant. The only way to complain is if the shift went from Xvid to actual 30GB HD discs. Then you would have a problem.
Xvid is slowing giving way, HD is too much for the population, and DVD-R is still the best standard, period.

I only have 3Mbs DSL connection, so I prefer Xvid copies of most things. There have been occasions when I’ve downloaded 4.5GB or even 8-9GB copies of things, but they have to be something I really want. There’s no way I’m going to spend 4+ hours downloading a video that I’ll probably watch once.
“War” is not a good movie. It is called an action movie.
But there is very little action to speak of. Jet li famous for his martial arts doesn’t even bother in this flick. Sometimes he uses his gun and on a very rare occassion his fists. There could have been an amazing fight between Jason Statham en Jet Li on screen. Sadly that doesn’t happen. If you want a good Jet Li movie go see Fearless.
I also used to burn movies on DVD r. But for some reason my burner doesn’t work anymore and I only can burn cd’s. For a movie buff as me it is much easier to burn xvid/divx. The cd’s are much cheaper. Most dvd players also are compatible with xvid/divx and even rmvb. There is almost to nonen quality loss. So why should I use the more expensive DVD r. I have downloaded a lot of movies this year and because of the small size I have watched all of them. If all those movies were DVD size I would have wasted time and space. Because honestly most movies from this year don’t deserve to be burned on dvd.
