Here in ireland its only been in the last year or two that speeds of 10-20MB have come in last year i had 2mb which is slow now i have 10MB so it will take about 3 hours to download this (1.3mb per sec dl with rapidshare).

This game sucks, Trying to clone a Total War series and failed miserably, you can never dupe a Total War Game!!
I wonder if this is a new tactic the games industry is going down by making games so big it will deter people from downloading them as it will take ages to do so or is it a ploy, and are they in cahoot's with broadband companies so that people will upgrade to a much more faster broadband connection which also means more money for them.
So tired of WWII games this genre has been beaten to death then ground into hamburger.

Anyone else have problems getting the game to work ? Installs, copy crack and then gets wrong disc inserted, tried to cloak the drive, tried securom loader and nothing.
wow. as a huge fan of Total War and an even bigger fan of ww2 historically accurate games this may just be the one. ive been playing Combat missions for 5 or 6 years now and was looking forward to their quasi sequel Theatre of War….which was a complete bust on all accounts.

Crack not working for me. Tried cracks from gamecopyworld, but only got 'invalid text file' in the menu on launch.
There's a crack on DVD1 that says 'please start launcher' (launcher doesn't start). The files on DVD2 seems to be the same as original install .exe

I got it running. I rebooted and used the installed shortcut to the launcher. Now i get a CTD when i try to start at battle… sucks.

OK, I don't get it. Not anything about installing the game and whatnot, but get this:
There are two patches released for this game, 1.1 and 1.2. These were released, and this is the weird part, on April 3rd and 30th of 2008. Not to mention this game went into beta in October of 2007.
And even Gamespot has this game on a "TBA" release date. Meaning they've been patching the game almost nine months ahead of release? -Twice-? I'm totally flabberghasted.
Oh, and not to mention gamecopyworld of course has the patched .exes for both the original 1.0 release and the 1.2 release. These cracks were both released, get this, on the 29th of March 2008. (I.e. the 1.2 crack was released a full month before the patch was…)
The dates don't add up. What the hell is going on here?

Yepp tried the rzr crackfix dont exactly know what its supposed to do. Still crashes when i wanna do the battles myself and some other random crashing to.

I got the quick battles to work by turning off DEP in Vista and running under XP in compatibility mode . Before I did any of this I just got a blank white screen then crash to desktop

DEP is Data Execution prevention ,
1. Open the Start menu.
Right click on Computer and click Properties.
2. Click on Advanced system settings.(
3. Click Continue button for UAC prompt.
4. Click on the Settings button under Performance section
5. Click on the Data Execution Prevention tab
6. Turn DEP On for All Programs and Services Except for the Ones you Select
A) Dot Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.
B) Click Add to add the programs (32 bit) that you do not want to use the DEP feature.
C) Navigate to the program's .exe file that you want to add to the DEP exclusion list and select it, then click on Open.
7. Click OK to apply
8. Restart the computer to apply changes
If this does not work ,you should go back and change the DEP settings to however you had them before

hi, better to have COD rather than this game
here's my 2 cents:
1. it works with the provided crack, use LauncherWLCoN.exe
2. graphics menu is causing CTD, made it work only after editing Video(Low, Med, High).ini and WLCoN – Config.ini to fit my needs
3. battle works and no CTD when entering battle
4. nice graphics but VERY BAD CONTROLS
5. VERY ANNOYING SOUNDS (german sound like hyped yanks)
6. and YES, it's a failed TotalWar clone
I was so expecting a game to replace PanzerGeneral 3 … so disapointed. Try the game , maybe ull like it!

i got the game
unrar as said and got two iso files.
now when i mount my disc1 i cannot start the setup.exe.
a small black screen pops up and thats all….
anyone faced something similar or any ideas pls pls email back
