War Front Turning Point-RELOADED

RELOADED brought us an another war strategy with a working crack. War Front: Turning Point doesn’t try to be somehow realistic or history specific, but it focuses mainly on the fun from the gameplay. Quite a nice 3D graphic is almost a standard for every new strategy on the market, but this one looks really good. The only problem i see is the size: 6.2 GB is simply too much for many people.

Exploring an alternative approach on World War II, one in which Hitler is assassinated in the early days, players will take command of experimental weapons, prototype vehicles and units rarely seen in strategy games in an attempt to re-write or secure the historical outcome.

War Front is a state-of-the-art WWII 3D RTS game providing fast-paced, adrenaline pumping conquests. Players will feel the atmosphere of WW2 in a new environment; besides commanding their existing units, they have to care about reinforcements, resource management and researching new prototypes.

Choose what missions to fight, what troops to use, and when to call in reinforcements. Completing objectives and capturing strategic locations such as train stations or airfields in each mission will help you to win subsequent campaigns. Each mission has multiple primary and secondary objectives that are connected to other missions, providing almost limitless strategic choices. War Front is definitely not a ‘historic simulation’ but a game with FUN being its number one priority. Expect slightly excessive explosions. Realistic night mission feeling and visualization made with dynamic lighting 3 Campaigns with unique storylines.

Game features:

  • The first “Science-Fiction/World War II” RTS title that combines resource gathering, army building, base construction and a full-fledged technology tree with an intuitive interface and accessible tactical combat in a style that will delight casual and veteran strategy gamers alike.
  • A detailed technology tree allows for a variety of recognized WWII weapons along with special, nation-specific, secret and super weapons such as multi-turreted tanks, jet-pack soldiers, stealth bombers, armored mechs and more.
  • Two single-player campaigns portray an epic struggle of good-versus-evil in which Hitler is killed early in the war, taking history and the player in a nail-biting new direction. The story is written by some of Hollywood’s brightest screenwriting talents and told through a mixture of immersive cinematic cut scenes and fast-paced, tactical game play.
  • An action-packed multiplayer mode allows for up to ten players to compete against or cooperate with each other in teams or as individuals playing the Soviets, Germans or Americans. An Internet-based ladder will serve to memorialize the game’s top tacticians world-wide.
  • Players can control units in a traditional top-down RTS perspective or take direct control and jump into turrets or attach to any combat vehicle for a near-FPS experience.
  • Three distinct heroes for each nation, each with its own special abilities that can help turning the tide of battle in the player’s favour. Heroes gain experience and become more powerful, granting offensive and defensive bonuses to allied troops while weakening opposing units.

Minimum system requirements:

  • Processor: 2,0 GHz
  • Memory: 512 MB
  • Video: 128 MB
  • Free disk space: 1,2 GB
  • DirectX 9.0c

Even if 6,2 gb is too big for some people, many(MANY, not ALL) nowaday games, don’t worth nothing below 4-5 gbs…

Lamest game ever. Not even fun… i start up in a mission, produce 500 tanks, rape the primary objective, not even a reason to do the secondary objectives – like taking over a city, or sumthing to produce more tanks. Lame gameplay, lame grafics (see games like Faces of War, 10 times better).

And the crack suck (and now they have a crackfix, which explains you need to install “TAGES” from the CD. Easy done but still wont work.
