After seeing the DVD9 on iNTERFiLM I was pretty excited to see this movie coming as R5 Scene release :) . I hope it is as enjoyable as I want it to be. Remember guys if it really was that worthwhile buy the original DVD-R/BD! :)

Quality: Image quality is quite okay. Its not completely crystal clear but still very good. The audio sounds somewhat “unclean” you can hear some hissing. Its not too bad after all:

Synopsis: 25-year-old Wes (James McAvoy) was the most disaffected, cube-dwelling drone the planet had ever known. His boss chewed him out hourly, his girlfriend ignored him routinely and his life plodded on interminably. Everyone was certain this disengaged slacker would amount to nothing. There was little else for Wes to do but wile away the days and die in his slow, clock-punching rut.

Until he met a woman named Fox (Angelina Jolie).

    This movie is really really crap waste of anybodys time, allmost all the so called action films made at the moment are very poor and Angelina Jolie is so bad at acting it’s painfull to watch her but i’m sure most of you kids will enjoy this rubbish.

    at 17: In your dreams, I doubt they will be out any time soon, other then a DVD Rip that you can as usual a month before the release date, I’m sure the Studios that make those movies do not do screeners and they do not bring out dvd releases earlier in one place then another.

    Some studios (Warner Bros are one) distribute their screeners in a more secure manner these days. They use a small PC (shuttle form factor) running a custom Linux distro with encoded video files running through a proprietary codec. As the files play, a watermark is overlaid on the screen indicating the person the PC has been assigned to.

    How do I know? I’ve got one sitting right here.

    There are always screeners, but for certain films and shows, they’re a bit paranoid about them getting out so they make the extra effort.

    “dvd releases earlier in one place then another.” — whoever said this above, you need to realize that all the movie companies are creating their own piracy by releasing movies in Russia and other countries long before they ever get here. It’s called problem-reaction-solution. They create the problem, in this case it is movies being released in Russia earlier than here and ripped and put up on the internet. The reaction is of course, as you’ve all heard by now, “internet piracy is hurting movie sales”, and the solution is all of our ISP’s banning all web content that is not web 2.0 compliant.

    Enjoy the free stuff while you can peeps, cuz it’s all over and done with as of Dec.31, 2009.
