Wanted PROPER R5 LiNE XviD-KAMERA
Yesterday I informed you about the iVE release of movie WANTED, all in all a pretty good movie in my opinion worth 10/10 points @ iMDB (and I say only few movies deserve that e.g. Hot Fuzz or Sweeny Toddy), but now group KAMERA released their version fixing the flaws of the iVE pre.
Quality:
Okay what has changed: First of all this is a 2CD release and if you download the sample you will notice that the picture is more or less the same, although it feels as if KAMERA cleaned it up a bit. Judging from the sample the audio is way better, no hissing but of course it still doesn’t sound like Studio AC3 
– EDIT: It’s true the audio does crackle during action scenes.

People shouldn’t waste their time with this, the audio is still bad. It has a lot of crackling to it, especially during the action scenes like 7 stated. I wish I wouldn’t have wasted my bandwidth, but I guess I’ll have to make due.

This movie is worth 3/10 in my and a lot of other peoples opinions.
KAMERA are like TRADINGSTANDARDS. They are hopeless.
The audio on this release is pathetic.
Once again the “scene” ruins an average movie through hopeless incompetence. I don’t care what channels this “pre’d” on, the quality is atrocious, again.

Releases should aim at DVD compatibly. Release a the movie as ONE file and if there is still some1 out there that doesn’t have a DVD burner, than he can cut the movie in half and put it on two CDs (v.dub and thousand other tools, not that hard)…

@33 yea hot fuzz was great @38 not really i like both equally… and @50 run fat boy run was a good movie but it depends on your taste if you think hot fuzz isnt better you must be a real girly type of guy haha… hot fuzz had one of the best comedic action endings ive seen in a while… but yea this is a good release by kamera should have a re-proper soon then i guess… but its still worth grabbing and nicky your ears wont bleed unless you have a scanner or ghost in your computer haha

There are plenty of programs, both on Windoze and linux that let you append 2 .avi files into 1 file…
I use linux and therefore use http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/
This program is also available for Windows users…try google.
I just load or “open” part 1 into the program, select “append” and then load part 2 of the movie (it prompts me) which joins both parts. Then I select the “save file” option when prompted. It automatically outputs into 1 .avi file.

Nobody said that angelina jolie is a real life superhuman assassin that can curve bullets, i couldn’t stop myself from chuckling when you made the remark about unrealistic fight scenes.
Unless this is a complete misunderstanding and you assume dozens of previous martial arts and space age movies weren’t realistic when they let people run 100’s of metres along brick walls.
Enough from me, if this copy is as bad as people make it out to be i’ll wait for the next PROPER.

grep, you’re a lamer.
they took a vob video source and an mpeg audio line to encode it into an .avi container, downsampling the audio to mp3 using vbr, a 2pass technique. it’s not as simple as a n00b like you thinks. the problem is probably the source was recorded to loudly, not the encoding, if i had to guess.
and how much ear wax do you lamers have in your ears if you think the iVE audio is better?

I use v-dub to append (it’s easy as 1-2-3), but think it should be the other way around, now that Blueray is on the doorsteps and DVDs have been around for so long…
why not release the mov.s straightaway in 880/1100/1450/2200 MB?
ppl that want 2 CDs could cut the movies so that the CDs overlap for 5 or 10 seconds, so when they pop in the 2nd CD have an easier transition… imagen the joining fun when a movie is released in this fashion… and I think the 2CD fraction is the minority…

people don’t drop 2 cd releases because of an inferior source, you n00b. it’s because of the length of the movie. the longer the movie, the more space it takes. compare 1/2 cds for tv shows, 1cds for short movies, 2 cds for longer movies, or 3 cds like lotr.

Good Release, superb clarity although audio distortion is annoying. Overall the single disc version is probably better, not quite as sharp a video but the audio doesn’t distort. Now if someone just has time to virtualdub the 2 disc version with the audio from the single disc, with a slight parametric audio filter to remove the hiss.

you can check the quality of a movie on rapidshare by downloading just one file..For example if you want to check an action clip download part 5 or something then when thats downloaded extract to specified folder and check the keep broken files once that has extracted open the file in VLC player and click no.That way you can check the quality before downloading the entire thing.

God, this movie is horrible recycled hollywood trash. I thought it would be bad, but these clowns blew away my expectations. Bad acting, bad plot, bad attempt at an American accent, bad look by that zombie Brangelina Pitolie, bad action… just a bad bad movie. Hollywood got a lot of suckaz out to the theatre to waste money on this garbage. Thank God for RLS.

They are all bad, I downloaded kamera proper one and thought i would give it a go, but its unwatchable, the sound is crackling all the way through. I am very unfussy and watch most stuff, but if I will not watch this, trust me none of you want to its stupidly bad. I’ve downloaded a few others all the same, at the moment im downloading kingben new audio one, so I’ll check that out.
well they have boosted the audio to much , thats why it crackle during action.

The KingBen release is the best in my opinion and its not out of sync as some are saying! If Ur still contemplating on which to get, KingBen release is my advice!!! Enjoy!

Just downloaded the sample from the TDM DVDR and i have to say i was’nt impressed with the audio.In comparison to recent R5’s like Zohan and The happening this is very poor.
Hopefully someone out there will get a good audio source for the DVDR,but until then i am not going to waste my bandwith.

play this movie with vlc player open up audio options then equaliser then choose pop no hissing or crackle ,now if some one could redo this and release it would be very nice ,only bad thing is the russian writing on the ATM machine screen and the bit where he hits the man with the keyboard oh and in the supermarket all the signs in russian
Kamera’s audio was horrible, crackling whenever something happened, which it does in this movie.
KingBens has better audio, but it’s still not perfect.
Sorry but the sound is so bad it makes this unwatchable.

KING BEB BEST . The other releases made you feel like you were in a room with someone using their fingernails on a chalkboard.
The kingben release also has the best video at 720x.
He uses the cam video which played at a different frame rate recorded in usa. So he had to break the movie up in to many small parts and resynch each part at the beginning and then rejoin all the small parts. This was the only way to use the mvs audio with this russian soruce video. His encoding of the video is also the crispest.

- iVE version: hiss -> bad audio not watchable
- KAMERA Version crackles in action scenes -> bad audio not watchable
- TDM: same line as iVE -> hiss and not watchable, too
- Kingben version: he uses the mVs line but mp4 format
To get:
-mVs: get this one, proper audio, synched plus subtitles (not only in the opening but also during the bank scenes later on) http://forums.rlslog.net/showthread.php?t=5500
Also, if you are going to upload to RS, don’t mirror it on another rs link. Why not use FF or MU instead?
