VSO Software ConvertXtoDVD v3.0.0.1 Cracked READ NFO-F4CG

Most popular “convert anything to DVD” (yes, it can convert your grandma to DVD too; joke) software came out in final third version (no more RCs/betas), released by well known cracking group F4CG. Enjoy!

NOTE: My Avast antivir warned me about some virus (Win32:Delf-ICC) inside of patch. I’ve scanned it on VirusTotal and 2 of 31 antivir engines marked it as trojan too. If NOD32, Kaspersky, AVG, BitDefenter didn’t mark it as trojan, then I belive it’s false positive.

    @10

Put the crack in the same folder as to where you installed convertx

*sigh* Unfortunately, most people who post here want the points. I am interested in getting the latest version out to the community.

All the latest versions of this software are coming with major bug issues and crashes. Only the 2.1.14.223 version was the one with the least amount of problems, the only major bug in that was that of Audio issues, with audio really blaring out a lot, but if u put the DB level to moderate then even that was no problem.

Is there any new version of this software out there with less or the minimum amount of problems with bugs and crashes? if so please do inform me, i really want to upgrade.

  18. Chada
    March 1st, 2008 | 11:27

The Virus warning by avast is because of how the exe file is packed.

Avast picks up exes compressed with UPX, SLVCodeProtector and various other packers as viruses.

If you wnat to make sure its clean, unpack the exe and then run it!

Has anyone tried this, I burn the UFCs and the last disc i burned had some serious audio sync issues. I burned the same with v2 and didn’t have any problems. Blamed it on the fact it was a beta? Anyone confirm successful burn yet without audio problems on this version?

  20. bullett
    March 1st, 2008 | 13:05

no sync issues here. quite a few successful burns so far. this version has an overall good feel to it after upgrading from 2.99.13.900. just an overall more clean feel to it, with other bug fixes i have found not listed in the bug fix log.

whats the difference between this and the previous release on here? That one has worked fine for me, is it reall y worth upgrading?

  22. Ole
    March 1st, 2008 | 13:39

bmad, this is the final v3 release. The previous one you have is a v3 beta, with bugs fixed in this version. Even if you have yet to encounter any bugs in the version you have, upgrading is really recommended. It probably has a few enhancements as well.

comment 26 you don’t need email.Don’t use “enter old registry key button”.just copy the patch in the installation folder usually” C:\Program Files\VSO\ConvertX\3″ patch it and you’re done. You can delete the patch after. This is one of my favourite programs .Thanks

Avast finding Trojan in patch file.

  32. natalie
    March 1st, 2008 | 20:33

My F-Secure antivirus got deactivated after I ran the patch (although when i checked the patch for viruses the record came clean ) But even after removing the patch and the software, the antivirus would not start and would fail every time to check any given file for viruses! I had to reinstall f-secure for it to start working again. I removed convertXtodvd and its patch, of course. By the way, the serial numbers provided by sb40 in the above comment 6 are totally useless. This is for those of u who would want to give them a try. I personally will be waiting for a keygen to this incredible software, and in the meantime will be using the previous version of it, which is also great!

  33. terry
    March 1st, 2008 | 20:46

Turned off Avast added patch and all is well with Avast back on.

  34. natalie
    March 1st, 2008 | 20:52

Maybe I should’ve done the same, terry, but the very fact that my antivirus “didn’t like” the patch makes me restrain from using it again. Besides, I’ve always preferred keygens, so there’s no harm in waiting :)

I read at the ConvertXtoDVD Forum that this program was crashing mid-way for some. And the advise given was to first fully un-install the earlier beta version and then use the Uninstaller Tool available at the VSO Web-Site to clear any stragglers.

Only after doing this one should install version 3 and then it shall not crash.

Otherwise an excellent program for which the Uploader deserves a lot of thanks.

    March 2nd, 2008 | 06:07

Considering that natalie’s anti-virus was shut down by this questionable file I will wait for a crack that isn’t malware. Many viruses attack anti-virus software before working their magic.

Shame because I was looking forward to this release.

I totally agree with you, Mr Right! The patch is definitely fishy to say the least! I’ve witnessed my antivir behave in this same way every time I was trying to run a file that was infected with some kind of virus or spyware. It’s always better to wait for a keygen or a working serial before upgrading to the new version of this excellent otherwise application.
    Regards,
    Natalie.

You can always run Sysinternal’s Process Monitor to monitor the particular patch file(s) & check whether it did anything fishy in the background.

    Hi,

I am new to this so please forgive me…. I have d/l the new ConvertXtoDVD verion 3, and the patch seemed to work; however, when I try to add a movie and hit “convert” it does it within seconds…and comes up with an error code as well as it states ‘Cannot open decoder?’…I have erased all of my previous versions of this software and have even used the VSO cleaner on it…get the same problem..

Please help…I know it is a GREAT tool if I were only to get it to work. I have heard that it is FAST unlike previous versions that seemed to take 5-6 hours generally to decode.

Too bad we can no longer use subtitles that include tags such as {\a6} that a previous version of ConvertX could handle. This was useful to make the subtitles appear on top of the screen when something is already at the bottom.

Other problem I noticed is that subtitles are in conflict with the change of chapter : the subtitle disappear when the chapter changes, so the reading time of the subtitle is shortened.

But nice job in the menus creation. That’s fun.

I just finally tried this version and I must say the people who designed the new interface are completely insane!!

Hi, i did everything i need to get convertxtodvd v3.0.0.1 to work. But the reason i upgraded was to get a better video preview, sadly now that i have the registered version and all the video preview does not work…
“DirectX preview is not available (filter is unavailable or obsolete).”
Why does it display that, and how do i get the video preview work properly?
    Thanks

  65. X-Man
    March 19th, 2008 | 22:28

Hello why does my convertxtodvd v3.0.0.1 display this log discription?

“DirectX preview is not available (filter unavailable or obsolete”

Can someone help me with this? Thanks.

  66. BlackPlastic
    March 25th, 2008 | 05:32

@66 I agree, I’m a dev and I can’t make head or tail of their menu editor! Maybe it’ll become clear eventually, but geez I can’t even get a background image on it, and the “preview” just shows the template, not the actual output as you’d see it in the final product. Crazy. I’m sticking with v2.2.3.

Hi im quite a noob at burning stuff to discs but i got dvdfab platinum 4.0 nd someone told me that i cant burn avi files with it so i looked around and this came up is there a free version which will work and is easy to use. thanks.

  68. Jet Black
    March 30th, 2008 | 13:32

In 2.2.3.258h you could do your own menus from scratch but you couldn’t combine multi movie clips into one simultaneous playing movie, now with 3, you CAN combine clips into one stream but you have to deal with those annyoing menu templates!!! (25?) WHY can’t they get it right? and incidentally, does VSO have a utility that’ll combine clips on its own, the few I have that do so destroy the film quality in the process…

  69. Jagger
    April 30th, 2008 | 21:53

The video preview doesn’t change when I adjust the menu, it only shows the templates I have picked. If I change the text or put in my own backgrounds, it doesn’t show. The first version did, so I guess something is wrong here.

I have noticed a few similiar posts to this and I believe it is related to the “warning DirectX preview is not available (filter unavailable or obsolete).” in the log.

    Can someone please help?
It would be greatly appreciated by all.
    Thanks.

  70. Xebas
    July 9th, 2008 | 17:35

About the “warning DirectX preview is not available (filter unavailable or obsolete)” I think it’s related to the way windows manages the video driver. When I installed Google Earth it asked me to change the default way of drawing (or something like this) fom OpenGL to Direct X.
I really don’t know how to tell windows to use DirectX instead of OpenGL.
Btw in the official convertxtodvd forum they suggest uninstalling, cleaning the registry (they have a tool named CleanVSO) and then reinstalling again to solve the problem.
    I hope it helps
