Seems this newer version doesnt work properly so it seems… Lots are reporting it cannot open .avi files .. Im still trying to get it to open .avi files… still nothing .. Im going back to the more stable version ….anyone find the fix for this cant open files please post …

it would help the credibility of this site if the person who writes the reviews would actually DOWNLOAD AND TEST the app he is flapping about
a worrying number of apps on rlslog either have trojans or simply do not work
kudos to those who do write in with this kind of helpful info

ConverXtoDVD is best because of its support of subtitles, which you won’t find in most other applications (not Avi2Dvd or WinAVI). On my Core2Duo 3.3ghz, conversion takes 15-30 mins, and the app only uses a single core. Nero is the slowest app out there and should only be used if you require a fancy menu. Also, ConvertXtoDVD’s single pass method produces stunning results.

How much testing did you do before you commented?
Yes neither the torrent nor RS link work. Best I can suggest
Is uninstall the faulty version and if you are stuck install this older version. Use the last serial number. The update facility gives the same fault as everybody is reporting.So best leave it alone.
