The application interface is also very simple and easy to use, so you won’t have any problems burning your video stuff on DVDs.

Best DVD software for a quickie
)
this is awesome man! Just what I was looking for
Indeed the best avi to dvd converting program. I just downloaded it and I love it. Great quality on the movies as well.
Used this for years. I can’t imagine any software easier to use to convert video to dvd. If you’ve never used this, try it out.
Yes, absolutely recommended dvd converter. I only wish this can burn rmvb files directly without having to convert them first.
yep great program, shits on nerovision.
yeah it beat nerovision to the punch……..
one word : MORONS
re-encoding xvid to mpeg2 ? Why in the world would anyone do this? (ok, rant on about dvd players not being able to play xvid, and that you do not have the brains or the knowhow to play stuff from your pc on a tv)
But remember that movies are normally ripped from a mpeg2 source, then encoded to xvid. Reversing the process will degrade the picture even more… so I ask once more WHY?
Are you all mentally challenged? 80% of the DVD players around can play xvid, and if they can’t get a new ROM patch.
This software is praying upon people that have no clue, and you think its a fine piece of software? Sure, for the pure exercise, its fun. But seriously, you are IDIOTS, if you re-encode like this…. (BTW there are formats out there designed to shrink a DVD to a form of mpeg4 and then be re-encoded without loss of quality, but it looks crap in the 700 mb format, even if you get all the menus. I am talking about RatDVD. It had promise but never followed up)
I get so pissed at ignorant home encoders, that never took the time to learn the basics.

What a load of bollox you talk! You are talking out of your ass!
And who are you to call these people “idiots/morons” And to say that 80% of DVD players play Xvid is also BOLLOX!
You are a first class Nob!
oblodo:
obviously, you’re the moron. not everybody downloads shitty xvid rips like you. if you didn’t notice, there are hd rips floating around in mkv/x264 format. now show me one fucking standalone player which can play mkv/x264.
got it?
you goddamn ignorant bitch
@oblodo:
Morons you say??? OK dude… So explain me one thing: i have a XVID capable DVD player (region free) but my TV isn’t NTSC capable. How on earth would i watch the majority of my movies, series and stuff without converting them to DVD (PAL)??? Or you think i want to watch all my stuff in B/W???
It’s a great program indeed, very easy to use and has everything you could wish, almost a one click solution. If you don’t like it, just leave it be, but don’t bash it nor its users.
This program is the easiest to use out there and works fine for average quality vids, but if you want high quality stuff use a program that can do multiple passes.
I’ve been using both appz for a long time and Nerovision does produce better quality DVDs.
this isn’t registered, and doesn’t come with a code?
i assumed Regged meant this was the full registered version, but this is just for a trial with a watermarked finish.
anyone got the Reg code?
ConvertXtoDVD – 2.2.0.251 – Released 19th of May 2007 and yes nero movies on dvd do look a bit better but by going through 2 pass encoding but that just takes too freakin long so i had to give up on nerovision …… and @ oblodo: nooooooooooooobbbbbbbbbbb
the serial numbers are in the nfo document, but the old cracks still work and they are definitely better than using a serial number that eventually becomes blacklisted by vso
ConvertXtoDVD is great for fast encoding as BlackSpec wrote. However, if you have a few hours for each conversion, Canopus Procoder 2 or 3 and Cinemacraft Encoder SP2 are better, and available from the usual sources.

does this needs to be bought or cracked, if cracked anyone got a link?
does this program needs to be bought or cracked if cracked, any got a link?
this is the programm that i suggest u in a earlier post and the one im using right now its the bomb guys fast and proper quality and u can mount like 3 avi’s on 1 4.7 dvd make ur own trilogy if u feel like it !
thanxs martin finnaly a great application for dvd !!!!!!!
enjoy this great apps !!!
lol @oblodo(again)
try educating my mum or my computer illiterate friends on how to get an xvid to work on their dvd player? good luck! it might be simpler to use this program and just giving them the “shittier quality” dvd which they won’t mind seeing as they watch their stuff on a regular tv and aren’t “educated” enough to tell difference in quality…
thanks for this.

Oblodo,
I was about to chew you out, but I think everybody else got that noise with you.
For the record, you are a dumb azz
there is already the convertxdvd2 out on torrent if not go on the official web site
http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/
and downlaod the trial and activate whit those key
Register with any of these serials:
LSSDC-ZMSG9-ZQJUN-3APV3-YZWR6-T
CSSJE-3M6RR-72786-UD3YH-KSB93-L
YCRSP-F8YHM-QQQNA-UDNK8-CULTG-U
LKKR2-XUACA-V8BRB-HA386-YBAW5-T
Y7HQ9-2NCHQ-V4VSZ-RNVBD-5PBXQ-A
This program is the best for quickie stuff, I use a portable DVD player and can put 2 or 3 movies on one DVD with good quality. I previously used all the best multi pass converters but they took too long and the difference in quality on my small screen was negligible.
@ oblodo
I think you must be the idiot, you just called every ConvertXtoDVD an idiot.
Hey i appreciate all the comments , is givin me an intro on how to Geterdone . Thanks, go a little Ez on each other. Happy Hunting
I always use the latest version of convertxtodvd
great!
sorry for double post! thought first one did not get through.

4DVDs –
i love ya all ^^
…I guess you can add me to the long list of “Idiots” who consider this software a blessing of ease and perfection!…Thanx for the INFO…
quick question, typically how long does it take to convert from Avi to vob(dvd)with this?
thx in advance
@LoRD: Oki, so oblodo is a moron, we all got different needs etc. I’ve never used this, but as some say, it’s nice for giving movies etc. away to people without Xvid players etc.
But you’re quite the moron yourself… Xvid etc. aren’t coded in PAL or NTSC, they are just streams. An Xvid is an Xvid, no difference in PAL or NTSC.
My number choice for video ease of conversion great program, use ill the time.
This program kicks ass, i have always used this, wt never any problems, speed is great and quality is good for the time it takes
Downloaded and seems to work a treat. Thanks to the people who posted it.
DON’T DOWNLOAD THIS BULLSHIT

There is already a new verison out.
I like a lot of foreign and old silent films and this is the only basic DVD encoder/burner that I have found that will easily import subtitles in different formats without having to hardcode them first (which is a pain).
The output is very basic (no animated menus with audio, for example)but it does the job. Qick too, compared to others.
All in all – not a bad wee app.
Theis is an old version but you can download the newest version from their site. Install this first with key then update with newer version. It works I just did it
the reason why people like myself convert an xvid to dvd with subs “burned in it” is because when my dvdplayer plays an xvid + subs, it shows crappy subtitles which I can’t configure, the dvdplayer shows the subs too small and they appear IN the moviescreen which blows big time.
When converted using convertxtodvd they look like the real deal, who cares the quality isnt top notch, if i want that i’ll go buy me the original dvd.
It is indeed the best program out there for doing things the quick way and easy too. I just love it. Combinig episodes into dvd parts with complete menu to have a complete dvd box is the main thing to use it for.
It takes from one to two hours to convert a 4.7 dvd in a P4 3ghz with maximum possible output quality, because someone asked.
Kids.. this proves my point : “this is what axxo recommends, that’s all we need to hear, the rest of you noobs can STFU and GAFL!”
Anyone that thinks aXXo is good is a n00b and a teenager.. end of story.
@ahj0t:
I use HD DVD and Blueray stand alone players. And mkv (AVC/H.264)and wmvHD encoded stuff for my Media Center (that I buildt) If I want to convert HD stuff to lower res dvd (mpeg2) I do that too (CMD is your friend if you have a brain) Using tools to encode high res to lower res is ok, but re-encoding from low res to high res is still stupid.
This is my work, so I feel I should be able to tell you guys it’s moronic. But I see the point of needing to re-encode for mom’s and friends. Not everybody have the need to see a movie in high res, and good quality. Most ppl, i guess, still own CRT TV sets. But for plasma and LCD freaks like me it’s not good
I love the mature comments I get on this site. So many ppl feel hurt, I guess I hit a nerve, since they comment…
aXXo is not scene, and he never will be.
BTW kids, Oblodo watched the first moon landing on TV.. so kids, get real, and get your facts straight
I’m not as old as you, but I’m not a kid. And age does’t make you entitled to say everybody is a moron if they use this program. I use it ocasionally when I’m in a rush for some convertion. Most people downloads XVID, not DVD (mpeg2). Of course there’s diferences in quality, but most people find it easy to use. Not because they are morons or stupid, but just because its easier.
I have a XVID Player but only with stereo sound. Some movies I like to convert to use my 5.1 DVD player…
I think this is aceptable… don’t you think? I know it’s a resample or even a downsample… but… It easier than to search and get a DVD source on the net
What is so fucking hard about burning 4 xvid films to a dvd and then selecting which one to watch on a sipmle menu.
Good Xvid DVD players can be had for 30dollars amd ou losers are wasting your time converting xvids to dvds.
Doom9 forums know there shit and as they will tell you, a good quality Xvid rip is nearly impossible to tell apart from a a dvd on a standard TV.
OBLODO you are a idiot cuz most of the ppl , have to put subtitles , and many idiots just like dont put portuguese subtitles on rat dvd so the next time stfu
Oblodo, you sound very ‘up yourself’. 80% of all DVD players in the world don’t accept xvid videos.
I like to watch my movies on my DVD player so I use ConvertXtoDVD to convert my movie to a DVD file then put it on a RW so it can simply be overwritten later on. I always buy the DVD when it comes out in my country any way so it’s not like I’m going to keep an inferior video in my collection. No way.
Oblohard, I watched the first moon landing, too, BFD!
Myself and others have HD 1080p and Blu-ray (not “Blueray”). You’re still a moron.
Got this a while ago and it rocks.

@ Oblodo
Of course people get pissed if you call them a moron. A lack of knowledge or being a noob doesnt make you a moron! You can educate without come across like a smarmy twat! It does sound like you know your shit about technology. Personally I prefer women!
Even if I bought a Xvid compatible dvd, I have friends who might want to borrow movies, and its a real hassle lending out my dvd player!!
Anyway if you do have any useful info, which I’m sure you do, say it like an adult.

Again you sound so far up your own ass it is unbelievable. You are obviously a legend in your own mind! What sort of comments do you expect back from people when you call them Morons, etc! Over a piece of software!!! And the Media Center (that you built) Wow we are soooooo impressed with you (NOT!) You are probably 35 and still live with your parents as well!
Get a life! PRICK! If you make mature comments you may get mature comments back! Call people Morons you get this!
oblodo, let me see if I’m following your short string of “logic”: Anyone old enough to have watched the moon landing is a moron? Is that right?
Well, that puts me squarely in the “moron” category. On the other hand, at least I’m old enough to have learned some manners. I also appreciate that different situations call for different tools. A piece of software is just a tool. It is not an IQ test, not to most of us anyway.
If I want to drive a paneling nail I don’t reach for a sledge hammer. Now, it could be that some people don’t use hammers enough to know that. That doesn’t mean they are “morons”. If your purpose is to teach people the difference, you don’t start out by insulting their intelligence.
Perhaps you should examine your reason for posting. Is it to educate or are you trying to make yourself feel superior by insulting people?
And another thing I am wondering: what is a “smart guy” like you, who obviously only likes higher quality reproduction, doing on a website that primarily links to avi files?
I saw some DVD players that supported DIVX would that work for XVID also?
Just wondering…exactly what version is the one shown in the pic above? I have 2.1.18.242 ,and there are some visual differences between mine and this, so it just makes me curious as to which is the later version.
I´m one of the translators for this one. There is a new version with a lot of bug fixes:ConvertXtoDVD – 2.2.0.251 – Released 19th of May 2007
obladee oblado whatever the fuck your names is 80% off dvd players can play xvid thats bullshit for starters i dont know where you stay but no standalone dvd players play xvid, you wanna play xvid you gotta by a divx player or a divx compatible dvd player which if anyone has’nt got is handy for quickness to watch any format burn st8 to disc. One more thing you’re good at telling people what they should/should’nt be doing or software they should/shoud’nt be using why dont ya come here and tell us a better way of watching avi etc.. on are dvdv players wise ass!
The visual extras are just windows blinds arent they? Or maybe vista, i’m still xp-ing it!
Sorry if this is a silly question. If I put a DIVX/XVID quality movie on to a DVD will still have the same quality of the original DIVX/XVID on the new DVD burned image…
Oblodo = CUNT
wow what a heated debate. (ok not a debate more like a flame fest
I understand both sides. I agree with mr (i saw the moon landing) in his technological side of the argument.
however
I also see and understand why people do use this this software (i have to be honest i even admit to using this myself when i cant be arsed to sort out a family member and there DVD player (standalone) is not up to the job anyways!!
So i guess in esence the story is = Do what ever you fuuuuckin want. Who is anyone to call anyone a moron for using a perticular bit of software ??
just my two peneth worth
Well guys i have to say that ive been using intervideo dvd creator 4 bout 4 years now and its a great prog. I convert any xvid in bout 35 min. with a nice menu and extras .Only backdraw is that u can only add the the movie with the subs permantely attached , but i do this with virtualdub and takes bout 25 min more .As to the quality issue everyone shud know that if u start with good quality u will end up with good quality. If its crap quality of course no matter wat ya do it will be crap.
Thanx
