Hey Neo,
I agree with your first comment… went the same way myself. Even so, I still use this app from time to time if I need to give mpeg4-origin material to family/friends who don't have the slightest idea what DivX/Xvid is and only understand regular DVD format… and there are lots of them!

Use FAVC instead!! Uses HC-Enc, which is a way better encoder. Its also free and easy as pie to use!

What DVD player is everyone using to play Divx? I use Philips – are there better ones?
How about portable DVD players that reliably play Divx?
Sorry – lame questions from a noob…

@ 13. i use a philips and a ps3 for my avi files. actually the philips $40 piece of junk plays almost everything i've ever tried to play.
@10 Thanks for opening my eyes…
This is my number one program…
My number two program is Avira AntiVir
<(^o-)>
@17 – Thanks for the answer.
My Philips plays just about everything too (just wish it could play Flash, MP4s, and MKVs and it would be perfect). I use it since I don't have an HDMI output on my notebook or desktop.
