Voodoo Dawn 1990 DVDRip XviD-VoMiT
Here we have another low budgeted movie, this time its pretty old. Its an 1990’s horror movie starring Gina Gershon and a few others. With only a few votes the movie got a very poor rating. VoMiT brings us the 1cp rip of the movie, looking at the sample is a good rip for an old movie like this.
Adapted from Night of the Living Dead scripter John Russo’s pulp horror novel, this is a more old-fashioned living-dead romp in the mode of White Zombie .The story is set in the Deep South, where a diabolical, machete-wielding voodoo priest (Candyman’s Tony Todd) is busily turning migrant farm workers into flesh-eating, living-dead slaves. His plans are disrupted by the arrival of two college students searching for a missing colleague — who turns out to have been one of the priest’s earlier zombie experiments. Good performances (especially from the menacing Todd) and creepy atmosphere are diluted by slack pacing, but the gory finale packs a horrific punch.

Ugh, don’t care about this type of release….just hanging around for the Oscar screeners, which aren’t releasing very fast are they? I hope The Wrestler is released soon. Dying for that…this, not so much
