Comments on: VMware Workstation v6.5.0.118166 Incl Keymaker-EMBRACE

Since it wasn't explicitly stated, yes this will run DX9 passthrough so the Win7/Vista Aero interface is shown properly. In fact I use this for testing all the releases of Win7 and it looks (and mostly feels) like a native install.

Virtualbox cost nothing, and it also happens to be worth exactly that. Yuck.

VMWare server is free, and while it's FAR better than that Virtualgarbage, it's lacking many features in VMWare Workstation, like the snapshot management (tree), DirectX9, etc. Lots of stuff. Also, VMWare Server 1 was nicer than version 2

Or you can just use the browser plugin. No need for the player if you have VMWare Server installed.
